  Hi James, We had an excellent time at your condo. It was absolutely perfect. The location couldn't have been better--right across the street from the beach yet not in the middle of the crowds. The condo was very clean and comfortable--fit us perfectly. The breakfast room was also clean. It would have been nice to eat breakfast on the deck outside our condo because the view was fabulous rather than being confined to the eating area in the office. All in all, it was excellent! Thank you

  We were very pleased with our stay. We are a family of 4 that was traveling to Clearwater Beach for Spring Break. You can't beat the location of the property or the view. It is so nice to be able to get up in the morning and walk across the street...it is close enough that you can head back for lunch. The beach chairs in the rooms were a plus as well! There was one of the days that was a little chilly so the kids used the pool at the place and it was nice because it was heated. Very happy with our stay and will look to stay there again!

  First off, I was not looking for a 5 star resort. I had a few days to burn after a conference and was looking for an inexpensive place for just me... no wife, no kids, just me. This place was a home run. Don't get me wrong, there were plenty of families at the place, but for me it was a quiet getaway to get some work done while having my toes in the sand. I never went in the pool, though it looked nice. There is an incredible beach right across the street. The local Park and Rec Dept keeps the beach in such nice condition that I stopped two of the workers to thank them at the end of my trip. I walk everywhere so all of Clearwater Beach was at my disposal. For those not looking to venture too far there are a couple of cool bars/restaurants really close to the place. The second day I found "The Bait Shop" restaurant and didn't eat a meal anywhere else the rest of the trip. I have every lunch and dinner there for 3 days. The place is incredible. I will return to Clearwater Beach specifically for The Bait Shop. The staff at Pelican Pointe was great. If you have a great person heading things up the rest will follow. Melanie was super friendly and that translated to the rest of the staff. I have never really noticed the staff at these types of places before but this crew was so great. I knew most of them by name... even better they knew me. Before I go all over the top let me get to the drawbacks. #1 I went during the "off-season" in January. I think during Spring Break season I would have a whole other experience. But I felt like I was living in a quaint little seaside town which is exactly what I was looking for, not sure that is the case all the time. #2 There are good bars close but if you are looking to get to "town" it is a 10 minute walk. I can walk for days but understand that some people won't walk for more than a block without having issues. #3 The room was adequate but by no means luxurious. Go get a place at the Hilton if that is what you are looking for.

  Our stay at Pelican Pointe exceeded my expectations. Upon check in we were greeted by a genuinely kind and informative staff member at the front desk. Her greeting left us without any questions regarding our stay. Out room was well kept very clean an comfortable. It seemed there was always someone on site cleaning the property(pool area parking lot etc.) To sum up our experience it was clean, comfortable, friendly, great location and affordable.

  Rented this for 8 days in September 2012. Was very good value and the owner made it hassle free by answering any questions I had. We decided to go with this property due to its location and the price, which in my opinion was the best around. We had a hassle free check in and had a request to cut the trip shorter by one day due to unforseen circumstances, this was no problem and that was all sorted. The apartment itself is located on the top floor and as you look at the building in the photo, it is towards the centre of the building where one wing meets the other wing. There is chairs outside with a small table and this is a perfect place to sit out and get some sun or enjoy the heat. Inside the apartment is very clean and comfortable. The bed itself is quite large and spacious compared to other hotels I've stayed in. The safe in the condo we did not have access to, as we could not open it and the reception team did not get back to us with how to open it, but that didn't matter really as there was no real need for it. Room was serviced every day and anna did a great job. The condo has everything really and it's very handy to have the fridge for the water and milk etc and there's a freezer also which came in handy. Tv has great selection of channels if you did find yourself watching it and there's free WiFi also. With regard to location it is right across the road from the beach and you can see the sea from the window in the room. Beach was lovely and water was nice and warm. Can get busy if its a hot day but there was lots of room for everyone. With regard to restaurants we ate quite a few places in Clearwater Beach and Clearwater itself. Our favourites were Crabby Bills(shrimp tacos and the crab trap cocktail) and the Clear Sky Beachside Cafe(Thai Curry coconut Mussels). The condo is a short walk from quite a few restaurants. Only thing is - If you have loud neighbours then you will hear them. However this can be sorted by informing reception.

  The staff was helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. The beach is right across the street, and there are tons of good restaurants and things to do close-by. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Clearwater Beach.

  My boyfriend and I needed a romantic getaway and I chose this condo because of its convenient location to the beach and its affordability. The room itself was great. Very neat and clean...with cleaning and linen service every day. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. However, Clearwater beach is very crowded. I know it is summer, but I have never experienced that kind of crowd. The beach was so crowded that you could barely find a spot to lay your things, let alone swim. The pool at the condo was also crowded and you could barely relax in your room for all the yelling and splashing of everyone downstairs, making it impossible to sleep in in the mornings. And there is no private balcony giving it the feel of a motel over a condo. Overall this put a damper on our experience, but we were still able to have a good time. Other than all the things at the marina, we didn't really find anything else to do besides shop. If you do decide to stay at Pelican Pointe make sure you take a sunset or dolphin cruise! It was amazing. There are a few that actually offer free adult drinks during the ride. Also, the sky screamer parasailing is a must. :) Also there are Fun Boat cruises...this was probably the most fun...we went on a 1 hour tour and liked it so much that we went back for a 3 hour snorkeling/shelling tour...and found some great stuff! We also went to Busch Gardens for a day...only a 1 hour drive...totally worth it. Like I said, overall we had a great time. But when I take a trip to the beach, I kind of wanna lay on the beach and I never really got the opportunity and the crowds were terrible.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

  Owner response: We're glad you thought the room, service and area attractions were great Crowds at the beach depends on the time of year and whether or not any special events are taking place. Clearwater Beach is a very beautiful and popular destination. Spring Break and early June are the busier times of the year. Late summer, fall and winter are slower. A storm before you came increased density a bit because all the residents wanted to enjoy the beach too. There are restaurants, shopping, activities of all kinds and dance clubs at the beach. Plus each night there are vendors and free entertainment at Pier 60. Thank you for staying with us and hope to see you back on your next trip to the area.

  This is nice clean unit. It was big enough for 2 adults and 2 small children. The staff was great and you can tell they take pride in keeping their property clean. The condo is across the street from one of the crowded areas of the beach so I would suggest walking down early to save a spot or walk a bit farther past the lifeguard booth where it thins out a bit. Overall we had a nice relaxing trip!

  We received exceptional service the staff was great! The Condo was even better then we thought it was very clean well worth the money and very spacious. The location was great you are right across the street from the beach the ammenities were really nice the pool was amazing along with the laundry which was nice so you get your clothes clean before you go home. Our favorite part was that we took a taxi from the airport to Pelican Pointe and walked everywhere we wanted to go Resturants, Shopping, Marina with all the extras you might want (Dinner Cruies, Pirate ship, Speed Boat rides, Fishing trips, Parasailing and even more) definitely plenty to do and all without have to drive anywhere!

  My family has stayed at Pelican Point for the last 3 years in a row. We love this location, it's across the street from this beautiful beach! Staying here saves us $30.00 a day in parking fees! The rooms are average but very clean. There are also beach chairs in the room which is very convienient. We have browsed other locations each year we go and will always come back to this one because of the friendly staff and location. Thanks Jim for all the wonderful memories, see you next year!   Hi I stayed at Pelican Pointe 3/23-24 and had a lovely stay. I was very pleased with everything from the front desk to the room. I was most impressed with the cleanliness as that is a big deal of mine The room was very comfortable and cool The location to the beach was awesome and moreover felt the price was very fair and affordable and liked that the price included everything ( taxes and fees) I certainly if i can will stay again.

  Clearwater Beach is a very busy place in March. If you understand that going in, you will have a great time. Public beach is just across the street. Sand and water are beautiful. The room was newly updated, clean and functional.

  Our stay at the Pelican Pointe was fantastic! We loved the room and decor. The color scheme was relaxing and had a beachy feel, which was right across the street...perfect location! It was close to all the shops, restaurants, and area activities. Dealing with the owners was a pleasure. The staff was welcoming and very polite. Overall, my stay could not have gone better. We've stayed in Clearwater Beach before and the Pelican Pointe has been the best stay yet. We're definitely coming back very soon! Thank you so much for a spectacular extended weekend.

  The service was very good. We received clean towels, a made bed and a cleaned room everyday. The condo was perfect for two people. It had everything we needed. The location was great, just a short walk to the beach and the pier. Down the strip there were many restaurants & shops. A car is not really needed unless you want to venture out to other places. What I liked best was the location and the price. You're right across the street from the beach and at a good price. One thing I didn't like is the shared balcony. It had more of a motel feel with people walking by your door.

  My wife and I stayed here in Sept. 2011. The room was great, staff very friendly and helpful, and the grounds were very well maintained. We would recommend for families, couples looking to get away, or anyone else that wants to have a great vacation!

  Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  My family had such a wonderful visit to Pelican Point Resort. We are so glad we chose to stay here. The staff was excellent, and the rooms felt like home. Going to the beach, and having everything you need within waking distance was perfect. I have all ready began planning another visit and without a doubt we will be coming back here!

  The unit was very nice, clean, and right across street from the beach. Only issue was next door unit people were loud and the noise easily flowed into ours, even the noise of them moving chairs across their floor. Air conditioner would not cool the first night and actually the room temp had risen when we came back from late dinner. I shut it off overnight and the next morning turned it back on and it worked great, so I believe the previous renters had turned it down too low and froze it up.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

  Owner response: We appreciate and rely on guest feedback to immediately correct issues and make improvements. The air conditioner issue was due to a prior guest lowering the temperature so low that the unit iced/froze up. We now programmed the unit to prevent this from happening in the future. An air conditioner cannot run non-stop or it will ice up and no longer cool until it thaws out. Everything needs a rest period. :0) We looked into the noise issue raised and found the adjoining units doors were damaged. A repair is underway and we are also taking steps to create a better sound barrier.

  My wife and myself can't say enough about our vacation and stay at the Pelican Point !!! We were in room 416 and everyone there was super from the front desk to the maids. Any issues were taken care of immediately. We can't wait to come back for another dream vacation!!! Just one suggestion would be that a security guard be on site during the night time. There were a couple of instances where some of the guests got out of contol in the middle of the night. All in all it was a great week !!! Very impressed with the cleanliness of the entire facility.

  We were really surprised at how clean our condo was as well as the pool area (heated). The Management was very reliable and went out of their way to please us. The location is fantastic with the beach across the street,free parking,.several eating places within walking distance. Also the bus and trolly stop in front of resort.. We will be back .

  We came to Clearwater to get married at Sand Key Beach and everything about the trip was fantastic! The staff was friendly, room was very nice and pool area was always clean. Simple continental breakfast was convenient. Room had a very nice view. Pelican Pointe is right across the street from Clearwater beach so we didn't have to worry about parking, its just a two minute walk and you are on the beach. Its not even five minutes from Sand Key. There are also lots of restuarants within walking distance and its close to Pier 60. Some of our family also stayed at the hotel and they were very pleased with their experience as well. There were also beach chairs in our room that came in very handy. Jim and Tri also left us gift cards at the front desk for local restuarants which was very appreciated. We can't wait to come back!

  This is our 3rd year staying at Pelican Point and are always pleased with the service. We arrrived early and our room was ready so we didn't have to wait. The room was cleaned and had everything we needed. We loved the flat screen TV on the wall. They also had a complimentary breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00 each morning which had improved since the last time we were there. The location is perfect for walking to places to eat and also to the Pier. We will be staying here again in the future when we visit Clearwater Beach.

  The location is great and a rental car is really not necessary. The views from the 4th floor are beautiful. The unit is roomy, clean with a nice kitchenette and right next to the elevator. The owner even provides beach chairs. Easy walk to the beach (across the street), shops and restaurants as well as Pier 60. Local trolley and bus service for anything not within walking distance. The on site hosts were pleasant and very helpful. The pool is very clean and open late. Highly recommeded and would rent this unit again.

  Our gulfview condo at Pelican Pointe was in a great location and made our stay in Clearwater Beach a delight. I love to take long early morning walks on the beach and being able to walk across the street to a fantastic beach was a real joy. That is my kind of beach: sand like soft flour and one where you can walk for miles with your feet on wet sand just at the edge of the waves, and manicured each morning. We enjoyed walking to the many restaurants nearby and enjoyed shopping at the interesting craft stalls on Pier 60 on a Saturday night. My sister and I found that the condo met our needs well, it was clean and well-equipped, and we loved having a view of the Gulf, palm trees, and pool. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch and we enjoyed breakfast one morning from the sitting area outside the condo. The management folks at Pelican Pointe were wonderful, especially Tabitha. They were friendly, helpful, and had good answers to my questions. They really made a difference. It was so easy to rent the condo. The refund policy was very reasonable and I also liked the all-inclusive price: no hidden extras. All in all everything exceeded our expectations.

  Our vacation was awesome! The location is great, close to everything. We will be staying here again on our next Florida vacation. The staff at Pelican Pointe was very friendly.

  First and foremost the owners of this condo are a delight to work with. They bent over backwards to accommodate our requests and offered a competitive rate for their lovely unit. Pelican Pointe is located directly across the street from the Clearwater beach with easy public access and marked paths. The area is full of snack shops, souvenir shops, restaurants, Walgreen's, a post office, a Marina, bike/moped rentals, and on the bus route. No need to rent a car you can walk to basically everything. Pelican Pointe offers a continental breakfast, a few vending machines, laundry room, and a lovely swimming pool open until late at night, and the office gals are very helpful and friendly. We are definitely coming back!

  We really enjoyed our stay in this unit and the resort. The staff was friendly and helpful. This unit has a nice view, is very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The beach was just across the street and we were within walking distance to all the restaurants and attractions. Pier 60 has street performers, vendors and a great kids play area. The morning continental breakfast was a nice suprise too. We love Clearwater Beach and intend to book this unit again each year.
