We have two properties in Arcata. The Lemon Tree Cottage: Charming and newly renovated 1 bedroom cottage just a few blocks from HSU with views of the Bay and Pacific. Beautifully and tastefully decorated and furnished, including antique furniture and claw foot tub, with a lovely yard, this cottage is perfect for 1-2 people. Wifi and office space as well, overlooking the open back yard & gardens, which include a lemon tree, fig trees, and beautiful roses.
The Arcata Townhouse is two bedrooms available all year long (and we prefer rentals for 2 - 3 months, but can do shorter ones as well), and the Lemon Tree Cottage, which is a cozy 1 bedroom home with a large private yard and views of the Bay from the front, is available in the Spring, Summer, and Early Fall.
While you're here you won't even need your car because you are just a few blocks from campus and downtown Arcata, and about 6 blocks to the Plaza. You'll find all of the conveniences including restaurants, shops, massage therapists, cafes, bookstores, and much, much more at your reach. Many of the houses in the neighborhood are also quite charming, with classic Victorians and Craftsman abounding.

Perfect Place for a Getaway! Stayed at the lemon tree cottage for a week in may to attend my daughter's graduation from hsu. The cottage was warm, welcoming and cozy. The location is perfect-on a qioet street but close to the plaza with easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. The yard and gardens are beautiful and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting arcata.

The Lemon Tree Cottage is a very special place.The bathroom,and backyard were just awesome!!The cottage was very clean and right in my budget.The yard is beautiful.The only thing it's missing is a hammock for reading.We couldnt believe there was OJ,Coffee,and a bottle of red wine awaiting us.That was top notch!!<br/>The kitchen was fully equipped for our cooking needs.We loved the LEMON TREE COTTAGE AND WILL BE BACK!!Thank You!!

This was the nicest rental I have ever encountered. The house is just right for two people. The location is quiet and a great jumping off point for access to the redwoods and Arcata and nearby towns.We felt instantly welcomed and at home, the cottage is beautiful in every respect. I long to return someday.
