There's definitely something to be said about having your own private cabin settled on Lake Ouachita (3 blocks from nearest boat ramp), one of Arkansas' proudest State Parks, featuring over 1000 miles of shoreline... And yet only needing to travel a short distance to be in the middle of Hot Springs, Arkansas' most attractive locations for entertainment and tourism.
Probably the best thing about the location is the ability to mix the pleasure of the secluded - hiking, biking, boating, swimming, hunting, and enjoying the great outdoors like none other than "The Natural State" can offer, along with the niceness of Hot Springs - fine dining, horse races, casino slots, bath houses, museums, and so much more.
Whether we were having a family reunion, getting away for some romantic alone time, or going for a business trip where we really had enough time to think - we have ALWAYS loved Lake Ouachita and its ability to connect us that quickly back to the rest of the world if we so desired. That's why the Hideaway cabin comes with Satellite TV (Dish Network Top 100) so you don't have to miss your favorite shows and unlimited local and domestic long distance phone calls so you can call the kids, mom and dad, or the office back home - and that means unlimited dial-up internet access, too!

- Kid Friendly: Kids should definitely have a fun time at Lake Ouachita with all of the opportunities at your fingertips. In addition to fun in and around the water, the Hideaway cabin comes with card and board games for family fun indoors, and there is a playground only 1 block away from the property. Hot Springs also offers many educational entertainment sources as well as fun things like amusement parks, so there should be no shortage of things to keep children happy and entertained. However, parents may want to be on alert for toddlers, as there may be some safety concerns about steps up to the cabin and sharp corners of furniture and other things in the cabin.

Peak Season: Mar-Aug, $195/nt or $975/wk, Book 6mo in advance for discounted rates
Off Season: Sep-Feb, $145/nt or $725/wk, Book 6mo in advance for discounted rates
$200 damage deposit (refundable within 30 days after stay) and $45 cleaning fee
also charged. To schedule booking, at least 50% of total charges must be charged
on credit card. 30 days prior to your stay, any remaining amount will be charged
to your credit card. Cancelleation 30+ days prior to your stay will result in
full refund. Cancellation within 30 days of your still will result in refund of
damage deposit and cleaning fee, but we reserve the right to keep rental amount.
