It is a beautiful 2 hour drive to the Florida Keys and an easy 3 hour drive to the theme parks at Disney or Universal.

Why the Owner Chose Delray Beach
I love Delray Beach! It is an ideal location for any family and there is always so much to do for all ages. When we stay at the house, it always feels like home and we love life next to the beach.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The location is outstanding in that you can walk to the beach in 2 minutes and walk into downtown Delray in minutes. It allows for a really carefree holiday in that you can get where you want without any hassle. The nice benefit of the location is that you can get out and see all of the things that Florida has to offer. We are an easy 3 hour drive to Orlando and 2 hours to the Keys with lots to do in between.

My husband and I left the South Florida area 20 years ago and we relocated to the UK. While we love our life in England, we always miss the sunshine and beaches of South Florida and hence the reason that we bought our beach house in 2005.

We loved our week-long stay in this classic beach house. Many beautiful original details (planked walls, ceilings) with tasteful updates throughout. Tons of natural light and decor was perfect. House was spotless with plenty of good quality and clean linens. Everything you need is somewhere in the house. We were a party of four adults and two three-year-olds. There is a trundle/air mattress under the day bed. The kids slept in that room, which worked great. Nice sized back yard too. The location was great, especially if you don't have a car most of the time. Beach is literally steps away and garage is filled with beach supplies. It's an easy five-minute walk to Delray's main street. From there you can walk to the rest of town or take the free shuttle bus. Definitely recommend this place.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, families with young children.

i dont really want to tell people how lovely this pastel perfect beach house is, if i do everyone will want to go and i may not be able to book it when i want to return. it is such a fantastic location being so close to an unspoilt beach and a great road of restaurants and shops. it is well equipped and so pretty inside that it makes you sigh with contentment and you relax within seconds. the bikes in the garage are a great idea - dont use a car once you have arrived. the only problem we had was leaving - i had to tear my wife away!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Wonderful, colorful cottage so close to the beach! We have enjoyed visiting this adorable house. So easy to walk to town, shopping, etc. The beaches are beautiful! Very charming. Loved it!

A group of friends rented this house and found it to be perfectly located and appointed - steps from the beach, plenty of beach chairs and beach towels which is a very nice plus, the kitchen was outfitted with everything needed for cooking and serving a meal, and the bedrooms and baths were very lovely. We will definitely remember this house for our next trip to Delray!

We stayed in this adorable cottage for a week in March 2009. It is so clean and cozy. We has such a relaxing time here. We loved it and so did my kids. My son keeps asking to go back. We look forward to staying here again.

Our family of 4 stayed in this charming Delray Beach house for one week in March, 2009. The cottage was very comfortable, with cheerful freshly painted rooms, nice furnishings, beach chairs, towels, coolers all steps to a great beach. A wide choice of good restaurants and shops within an easy walk. We're looking forward to a return trip.
