We wish to thank Linda and Matt for their Welcome and personnal attention to any requests we made during our stay enabling us to have a happy and carefree holiday. Also for the information provided for trips around the Island. The Villa was well furnished, comfortable and clean with ample provisions for our needs. We especially enjoyed the large heated pool and BBQ area. Most of all we really appreciated Linda and Matts willingness to help in any way possible to make our stay perfect.

This is a beautiful home. Everything is just as pictured. It's perfect for our family (3 couples and 2 kids). It's very clean and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Good location - San Marco Beach, Tigertail Beach and world famouse Snook Inn Seafood restaurant are within 15 minutes driving. I have always rented vacation homes everywhere I go for vacation (don't like hotels). But, this is the best rental home that I have ever seen. Linda and Matt are always available for questions. A Lovely Thanksgiving

We planned this trip to celebrate Thanksgiving in warm weather. This house was perfect. The bunk beds were a hit with our 3 kids (teen and twins). My husband's mom was with us and it worked out great having 3 rooms. The pool was lovely and the view from the lanai was peaceful. The house was very clean, just as you see it. It is a quick ride to the beach and shops. The owners were very helpful to give us suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Having a full size washer/dryer was a huge help too. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a smoke-free, pet-free, clean place to have a wonderful vacation. Thank you to the owners for making it a great getaway for all of us.

Wonderful vacation

My family and I stayed at this house for 10 days in July, it was wonderful. The house is as you see it on HomeAway, clean and neat. We had 3 kids, ages 9 thru 14 and they enjoyed everyday of our stay. They could've swim and be outside on the bikes and skateboards. Any questions we had about the house, Linda was ready to answer. When we reached to the house everything was ready we just had to unpack and enjoy. We felt safe at all time, it is a very peaceful neighborhood and almost no traffic. Thank you Linda and Matt.

We stayed in this amazing home during the 4th of July week. Marco Island is beautiful and the home is more than we expected. The bedrooms were very comfortable and elegantly decorated. The kitchen was great for all of us to gather in for our family meals, and even grilled out. The pool was perfect and very clean. The pictures of this home don't do it justice! We were in awe when we arrived and wished we could have stayed longer. The home is a very short drive to 2 of the public access beaches and very close to the grocery store and restaurants. We enjoyed the South Beach access and ate dinner a couple of times at the Sunset Grill so that we could view the beautiful Gulf sunset. The owners were more than gracious host to us and supplied us with information and amenities that made our family vacation one for the memory book. We look forward to our return next year.

This is an excellent rental. Very clean, nice quiet neighborhood and good location on the island. Pleasant extra is an owner rather than a agency available if there are problems. We have tried 5 or 6 rentals on Marco and for our size family this would be our first choice.

Hummingbird Court Vacation

We staying here for our spring break. We had 4 adult children with us. Three were our sons and one was a girlfriend of one of our sons. We had a very nice stay. The pool was very clean, large and heated. The pool area was large with plenty of places to stay in the sun or get out of it, depending on the person. The bikes were nice for the "kids" since they could ride to the beach where they had friends staying. My wife and I rode to the beach one day. It's not a long ride but it's not a short one either. Plan on about 15-20 minutes depending on your speed. Shopping is near by and the owners were very responsive if we had any questions about the property or the area. I would definitely rent from them again. The house was very clean and well maintained. The only slight inconvenience we had was that there is only one bathroom for both guest rooms. Since we had a female guest, we had to work around the shower but it wasn't really any big deal for us. Just know about this in advance. There were plenty of towels, dishes, and everything you need to enjoy your stay. A great time was had by all.

My family and I stayed at this lovely villa for almost a week over the Thanksgiving holiday and would recommend this house without hesitation. We hosted our Florida family and several friends for Thanksgiving dinner and everyone felt very much at home. The house is spacious, open and very comfortable. The house is very beautifully and tastefully furnished and decorated with very nice furnishings - things that you would want in your own home. It doesn't feel like "just a rental" as many of the vrbo homes that we have stayed at do. The kitchen was wonderful - very large, well equipped, lovely granite countertops, high end appliances. I didn't mind spending the day cooking - the view from the kitchen and almost every room in the house was incredible. The pictures on the website don't do the view justice. The master suite was very private and roomy and the master bath was very nice. The kids loved the large heated pool and the dock. It was fun just to watch the fish - they were literally jumping out of the water! My daughter spotted a dolphin our first day there. There are fishing poles in the garage just waiting to be used. The location of the home is terrific. It was very easy to find and is located in a quiet residential neighborhood very close to a great shopping center and just a short distance to the incredibly beautiful white sand beaches. The house was very clean. We really hated to leave - we enjoyed our home away from home so very much.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Paradise on Marco

What a wonderful property! Tranquil and immaculately clean, this home was the perfect spot for a quiet getaway. The lanai area is so private and the pool quite large. The well stocked-kitchen was a gourmet chef's dream with stainless appliances and granite counter tops. We loved taking our meals outside in the lanai and, in fact, we spent most of our time there, soaking up the sun and enjoying watching the fish jump out of the water as they chased their next meal down! We could not have asked for a better property-or better hosts. They made us feel welcome and special, as they provided excellent restaurant recommendations, web links for boat rentals, information on local spas and even some grocery shopping before we arrived! We felt like they truly cared that we enjoyed Marco Island and this pretty home. We cannot wait to return to Marco Island-and to any of the rental properties owned and managed by this local family.

We just discovered Marco Island's best kept secret-this wonderful home on Hummingbird Court. We can keep this review short-the home was lovely and as clean as our own home, the hosts were the most accommodating property owners we have ever dealt with and Marco Island is our new favorite vacation spot. Don't hesitate to book this property-it is just as pretty as the pictures.

My family and I have visited the Marco Island area for a couple of years now. We recently visited for Spring Break 2011. I must say the home is very nice and really gives you a home away from home feeling. The house was very clean, the furniture was very nice and the view awesome. The owners are very gracious and would assist willing in anyway possible. I would truly recommend this home and owners, to anyone looking for a place to stay in Marco. Love it!!!!

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

My family and I stayed here during the week after Christmas, and we had a wonderful time. The house is upgraded to the hilt with high-end furniture, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, flat panel HDTVs, and an excellent lanai, pool area with heated swimming pool. The island is very pedestrian and biking friendly. A Publix shopping center is only a few blocks from the house, and the beach area and local restaurants are only a few miles drive away. I would highly recommend this place for families as the house has a great room for kids. The owners are extremely gracious, friendly, and very helpful with recommendations and knowledge of the area. Highly recommended!!
