We love these restaurants: The Backporch (seafood nachos outstanding), Crab Trap, Cuvee Bistro – great food (little expensive), Callahan’s – good food for the price. Our stay was fantastic! We have been coming to Westwinds for probably 10 years at least twice a year. Had noticed that most of our usual condos were not on the Sandestin rental list. Checked out VRBO and there they were. Not only there but at a significant savings! Everything including communication before coming was fantastic! Would and already have recommend VRBO. We will be back the Lord permitting.

We just returned home from this unit and are ready to go back. The unit was very nice, comfortable, GREAT view. The Westwind complex was great, and Sandestin resort was wonderful. Furthermore the oil has NOT affected the beach. We swam in the ocean, spent lot's of time on beach and had NO trouble. Walton County and Sandestin are doing a first rate job at keeping it away, dispite the government's unwillingness to help. I can't say what it will be like next week or a month from now, but we had a wonderful vacation. Plus there is a LOT to do in sandestin on the bay side if need be.
