Great Place for Two on a Budget

We had an excellent stay in Edisto at this property, just an engaged mid-twenties couple. The condo living area was larger than expected, but otherwise the photos accurately represent it. The condo was immaculately clean when we arrived, with all the bedding and dishes we could need. The cooking utensils could have used one extra medium sized pot(We could choose between large and tiny), but we made it work and everything else was adequate. There isn't any internet for this unit, but that didn't bother us. There's a full selection of cable TV channels for those after-beach breaks. For the most part our neighbors were also very quiet, as we had 6 noise-free nights until a group of early twenties people arrived the night before we left. Generally speaking I found Wyndham to be a pleasantly quiet, isolated place. Here are the few downsides: The tram to the beach is first-come, first-serve and not always very convenient. We drove to the beach most days. The screen door also has a rip in it, which meant mosquitoes came in droves with the sliding back door open. Speaking of mosquitoes, they were quite bad this year and tried to follow you indoors. Don't forget your OFF repellent! Lastly, the bedroom window faces the parking lot which is incredibly brightly lit at night. It made it difficult to sleep even with blinds, but my fiancee creatively covered the window with a towel. A set of heavy curtains would fix that easily. I'd absolutely stay here again, the price was perfect, the island is what I wanted in a beach getaway(Isolated, undeveloped), and having a kitchen helped us keep our food bill small.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.
