The Westin Resort is located in over 40 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens with extensive white sand beach. Villa guests have use of all the features and activities of the resort including the 1/4 acre swimming pool, restaurants (formal & casual), bars, Kids Club, Deli, Tennis Courts, Spa, Exercise facilities and more.
This unit is one of the brand new Bay Vista units that over-looks Great Cruz Bay. It is centrally-located - a very short walk to the pool, beach, spa, restaurants and main office. It is on the third floor and provides both privacy and a beautiful view of the Bay. The photos included in this ad are from our unit. The weeks available are around the island’s Carnival days, which coincide with America’s Independence Day. It is one of the best times to visit St. John.
Cruz Bay Water sports operates directly from the Westin Dock with snorkeling and dive cruises, excursions to British Virgin Islands as well as boat rentals, sunset cruises etc. There is a cruise on July 4th to watch the famous St. John fireworks from Cruz Bay.
And St. John itself -- a Caribbean Island unspoiled by the march of time. With almost 3/4 of the island as a National Park, you can explore gorgeous, pristine beaches with clear, white sand crystal water, untouched by development. Hike up mountains, or walk to the centuries-old ruins of an abandoned sugar plantation. This is the Caribbean as it used to be, that can't be found anymore anywhere else.
To get there, fly into St Thomas and check in at the Westin lounge at the airport who will arrange (for a fee) for your transport by the Westin ferry direct to the resort or take the public ferry to Cruz Bay St. John and then taxi to the resort. If you take the Westin Ferry the fee gives you unlimited trips to St Thomas during your stay if you wish to visit perhaps the best duty free shopping in the Caribbean (the cruise ships do stop there).
Taxis or rental cars are readily available at the Westin to take you to wonderful quiet beaches for trips outside the Resort or to the nearby town of Cruz Bay. There are over 30 beaches on St John in addition to that at the Westin Resort.
