This is a delightful 1380 square foot house on a pretty village street, just a stone's throw from Padanaram's inner harbor. Expansive water views from living room, upstairs bedroom and deck are of sunsets, sailboats, and seabirds. A large private backyard invites barbecuing and picnics. House is available from mid-May through mid-October.
The first floor has a spacious living room with water view, dining room with fireplace, air-conditioned bedroom with queen-size bed, cheerful kitchen, and full bathroom. The second floor has a full-size bed, a full-size futon, a twin bed, and a writing desk alcove. The second-floor deck is a great place for relaxing in ocean breezes, reading books, watching birds, or taking in spectacular sunsets. Hot outdoor shower is a convenience after a day at the beach. The house is a five-minute walk to the charming village of Padanaram and a fifteen-minute walk to the Padanaram village beach. Round Hill Beach is a ten-minute drive away.
Leave your car in the driveway and enjoy a village location that's great for walking and biking. Boat launches are nearby, and ocean beaches (Round Hill and Horseneck) are a short drive away. The coastal area abounds with nature reserves and hiking trails, and ferry trips can be taken to Cuttyhunk and Martha's Vineyard. Good restaurants are plentiful, charter fishing is available, and the New Bedford Whaling Museum is great for a rainy day. New Bedford, one of America's largest fishing ports, offers harbor tours and waterfront walks. It is also the site of several historic houses from America's whaling era that are open for tours.

A $110 non-refundable cleaning fee will be charged in addition to rent.
