Great house/Beautiful Pool--but HORRIBLE pool management

We stayed here over July 4th. The house was great. Very clean and modern. Well stocked kitchen,--a nice washer/dryer. A great location. As someone else stated, the Master bedroom carpet was spotty, but other than that the house is perfect. An easy walk to the beach or take the trolley. The trolley guy was great--we tipped him a few times--he'd pick you up directly from your house if you called him! We walked a few times, and the walk was easy... One MAJOR complaint was the pool guys. The guys who cleaned the pools would randomly pick up towels that were left unattended on pool chairs. We walked back to our house to get drinks and came back. We had five chairs with towels on them that were left unattended for less than 15 minutes, and he came by and picked them all up and threw them in a storage closet. When we came back, the chairs were occupied by someone else and it took us about a half an hour to find that they were thrown in a locked storage closet by the pool guys. AND, our really good beach towel was NEVER "found". It was my daughter's "Beatles" beach towel that she loved--brand new (a Christmas gift from Grandma). The pool guys claimed to have no idea where the ONE good /new towel went. I called the association management and was told that it was their policy to THROW AWAY beach towels that were not attended. (YES--THROW them in the trash)--so, THEN we had to search garbage cans for the beach towel. I'm pretty sure that one of the pool guys is now a proud owner of a Beatles towel. That is my HUGE complaint--but it really has nothing to do with the house--more of an issue of renegade pool cleaners who are allowed by MANAGEMENT to THROW AWAY pool towels. Honestly, because of that incident, I don't know if I'd stay there again.
Owner response:It was a sad thing to have lost the beach towel. The pool opens at 10:00 AM and I think the pool attenedant was cleaning the pool area before 10:AM and thought the towels were left from the night before. This was certainly brought to the attention of the Association management. We hope this never happens again.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. There was plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 kids. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed. The Carpets needed to be shampooed upstairs in the master but otherwise a perfect property.
