While visiting the northern shore of Nova Scotia you will avoid the touristy area and experience Nova Scotia's unparalleled beauty...water as far as the eye can see, lobster boats, a welcoming sandy beach just down the pebbled driveway and across the dunes and cottages that have been passed down through families for generations!
Summer's warm sun, lots of friendly smiles, dolphins and seals swimming out in the North Umberland Strait all while your kids are jumping off the floating docks at the beach just footsteps from the cottage. Water is swimmable due to the Gulf Stream - summer's water temperatures can get up to 75 degrees! The summer sun doesn't set until after 9:00 pm leaving lots of time for drinks out on the screened in porch while gazing out at the water - keep an eye out for deer coming to drink! Next comes a delicious lobster bake out on the back deck just in time to make it down to the beach for a sunset like you have never seen before. Leave those windows open so you can fall asleep to the sound of the surf and the rustling of the trees only to wake up and start another perfect day!
