  Amazing weekend, we really enjoyed your wonderful cottage, warm and inviting, and so tranquil overlooking the lake, we would definitely come again! The owner was a pleasure to deal with, and easily available by phone. The cottage was clean and uncluttered, and thoroughly charming. A memorable vacation.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.

  We stayed here in July 2010. We had a great time and the home fit us perfectly. I have been coming up to Powers Lake for 13 years staying with friends at the Austin Club. My family of 5 out grew being a simple guest so fortunately we found this house. The setting is perfect for us being next door to the Austin Club. For new travelers the Austin club has specific rules not allowing much noise after dark. Having them as a neighbor ensures some tranquil evening on the patio. Speaking about the patio, it maybe the best view on the lake. The owner was easy to get a hold of and very accommodating. I highly recommend this house especially for families.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

  We really enjoyed our stay at this well-appointed and comfortable home. The outside deck and dock offers great views of the lake and is close enough to watch kids swim and fish. The enclosed porch was a favorite too.

  This warm and inviting lake home is in a beautiful setting with a glassed in porch overlooking the lake. There are several gathering areas in and outside the home which made it perfect for grandma, grandpa, grown children and our grandchild. We enjoyed the use of the pontoon and appreciated the order and cleanliness of the home. All beds and linens were very comfortable for sleeping. The owner was very responsive to any of our questions or requests.

  Home was very comfortable and clean. We had an enjoyable time. House has plenty of sitting areas. Very comfortable for our family of 6 adults and 1 infant. Bedrooms are all hardwood floors and they were all spacious and very clean. Very good fishing from the dock.

  I have stayed here for four years and it is the highlight of my year everytime! The home is comfortable and bright and sunny and the view of the lake is magnificent. It is only steps from the house to the dock. Heaven!!
