Absolutley perfect place,,,property located on the river, within walking distance. Awesome pool and hot tub. So serene and relaxing, perfectly picturesque view from the patio and the grounds. Could not have picked a better place that fit all my needs. Love that it is just a short distance to the tubing on the Comal River. My stay was so quiet and the perfect getaway. Took the short drive Gruene for shopping and lunch at the River Tea Room.. And you have to take the scenic drive up River Road following the Guadalupe. Such beautiful scenery and the river views. Can't praise the Redneck River Ranch enough. Thank you, Fonda for sharing your beautiful vacation home. I will highly recommend your place to friends and family. The photos and reviews were so helpful in making my decision to stay here. Thanks again.

This was a wonderful property that my group of friends and I stayed at during Wurstfest this year. The condo was walkable (about 1.5 mi away) from the fest so the group of us walked there and back each day. The condo was extremely clean and had everything that we needed. Fonda was always available to answer any questions I had prior to showing up to the condo - I couldn't have asked for a better booking process! I would definitely recommend this condo to people looking for a really nice, larger condo that for family or friend reunions!

We had a fabulous time at the Redneck River Ranch! Your condo slept 10 girls like queen's for three fun nights. The pool and hot tubs were amazing as were the community grounds. The condo was well stocked with plates, glasses, COFFEE machine, utensils and the beds were super comfy. We had plenty of room to spread out and we were extremely pleased with the accomodations. Fonda and family, thank you so much for sharing your condo with us! We will be back next year, fer sure!

Fonda, To start...the weather was perfect! My daughter and her best friend graduated from Texas State that weekend, so we had two families staying at the condo. It was CLEAN, SPACIOUS and BEAUTIFUL. The condo had very comfortable beds with plenty of them for our crowd. The ground floor location is fabulous, the view off the balcony overlooking the spacious tree filled grounds was wonderful. It seemed to be very quiet, as we were one of very few renters there that weekend. After graduation we grilled fajitas and played washers out on the lawn. Our guests just couldn't get over the beauty of the place. Thank you so much for the great deal! We will definitely come back!

This place is awesome. Just as described if not better. Facilities are clean, neat, and the location is beautiful and close to everything. Had my daughters bachelorette party here with bridesmaids and moms, close to everything. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, planning on coming back here with the rest of my family one day. ******** :)

I took 5 teenagers, boys and girls to the hill country for the long weekend. The weather was iffy so we weren't sure what direction we would go but wanted a place where the kids could still have a good time no matter the weather. This was a perfect spot. A room for the girls, a room for the boys and a comfy one for me. We took an Xbox to add to the TV. The pool was great with steam rising from it in the cold foggy night and lots of deer roaming around just off the deck area. It's just a short walk down to the river and if it were tubing season it would be perfect as well right at the rocking r take out, but I imagine the crowd would be crazy (but fun). There are picnic tables in the yard and plenty of space to throw a football or frisbee, both of which the kids did. Schlitterbahn at the Rapids is at the end of the street, HEB is ten minutes away and the hospital is even less. I know this because I had to take my son in the middle of the night and I was very happy it was so close and the care there was fast and friendly, great facility and staff. Our plans were, if it rained, we were going to Natural Bridge Caverns because it's out of the weather and the Safari Ranch. If it was dry we would go hike Perdenales Falls and to the LBJ Ranch in Johnson City and maybe the factory outlets in San Marcos, all of these are within an hour from the condo. The weather turned out great, we got our hike and shopping in and the hardest part was getting the kids to leave the condo. They've made me promise to take them back again and honestly I can't wait, we had a great time. This was a very comfortable, accommodating fun place that I will tell my friends about. The owner was very helpful as this was truly a last minute booking and she did all, quick and easy.

We had a family reunion over Christmas. There were 15 of us and the sleeping arrangements worked out great. The location was very good, one night on San Antonio's river walk, one day at Sea World, one night dinner in Gruene. Kids loved the heated pools and the grounds were great for playing games.

We had guest coming from out of town. It was a quick 25 min. drive from San Antonio Airport. We enjoyed Schlitterbaun, relaxing in the pool and hot tubs, & floating in the river (there is a rope swing across the river outside the condo the older kids enjoyed). A nearby HEB and Starbucks allowed for ease of meals and a jolt of caffine in the morning. A nearby Walgreens (redbox) provided movies for the evening. Condo had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay! Friendly people & beautiful surroundings which are will maintained made us feel safe & secure. There are also security guards on the property. A broken water pipe on the property left us without water for a portion of a day but did little to dampen (pun intended) our spirits. We had a wonderful time! We would absolutely go again! If you have kids, I might suggest bringing a tube or float to use in the river outside the condo or pick one up at the nearby Walgreens or Walmart.

The condo was more than expected. I worried that we would not have enough room for 10 adults and 2 toddlers but that was not the case at all. The condo was very spacious and had a well designed floor plan. The condo was well stocked with appliances, furniture, linens games and toys. The condo was very well cleaned and maintained. It set in a great location in town and we were so glad that it was on the first floor. Thank you Fonda for sharing it with us.

My family had a reunion this past weekend and had and absolutely fantastic time at the Redneck Ranch. The resort style pool, family friendy environment and location makes this condo a wonderful place to stay. The condo was everything we expected and more. However; the property was not very well lit outside at night. There was very friendly security and we never felt unsafe but we did feel it neccesary to walk the children to the pool from the condo. Also because of the lack of lighting 3 of my family members, including my 65 year old mother fell down a hill that at night appeared to be two sidewalks with a strip of grass between them but in the daylight actually was 2 steep cement curves with a strip of asphault between them. this could have all been elliminated with proper lighting. Overall beautiful condo and excellent place to stay. Thank you to the Gorringe's for a great time!

We all had a great time at the condo form 2 1/2 to 70 years old. We brought plenty of things for the children to do, but I think they liked the pool the best. The river being closed from the flood did not make Grand Maw mad. I am not a river person anyway. The grounds were perfect. Plenty of room for the children to run and plan and me not worrying about them falling in the river. Wanted to do the pebble park, but it was also closed due to the flood. Maybe next time. All in all we had a blast and your unit has the BEST location of the complex. "Easy to access to the ground and pool." Thanks for a great stay! The Varners

We stayed at the condo in May for our first family girls weekend and had a wonderful time. The condo is well furnished with a fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed for cooking. The beds were super comfortable and the bedrooms are extra large. We will definitely consider returning for our annual event.

This was one of the best times I have had with girlfriends with the comforts of home. The condo was wonderful and we all plan to come back on an annual girls trip! The porch was our favorite part as well as the hot tubs! It has a wonderful view to just hangout and visit with everyone. My girlfriends and I are still talking about it! So, whomever is reading this review, "You better jump on it because this condo is going to be book years in advance, I am sure of it! Thank you so much for letting us have my Bacholorette Party here....this was one weekend I will never forget! Love ya lots Fonda!!!

We had so much fun. The property is beautiful and just as described. My grandchildren loved having the 4 bunk beds and sleeping and playing together. We loved being able to go into both Austin and San Antonio esp. being able to see the Dinosaur exhibit at the Witte museum and having margaritas at a great texmex restaurant. I would love to come back and explore more of central Texas, maybe next year. We also love the beautiful community pools. Most of the time we had the backyard pool to ourselves. What a great vacation.

Thanks Fonda for a very pleasant stay! We stayed Jan 4th thru 9th, 2010, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though there was a bad cold snap in Texas. The 4 hot tubs and 2 pools were well heated and close enough to still enjoy. The condo is clean and well equipped plus it's on the ground floor and was very easy to access even for my mother in law who had recently had a knee replacement. There were comfy pillow-top beds in master and 2nd bedroom, flat panel TV's in every room, and very short walks to hot tubs and pools. We would definitely rent from Fonda again next time we visit.

The Redneck River Ranch was amazing, with all the luxuries of home! State of the art televisions, DVD players, and stereo. Huge grassy areas with lots of barbecue pits for fun cooking outside while you play horseshoes and sip a cool one. Condo was extremely neat and clean, and having a full-sized washer and dryer for wet towels, etc. was great! Beautiful pools, hot tubs, and landscape. Can't wait to go back next year!

My Caddette girls, ages 10 -12 had a most fabulous time. It was our end of year party. The drive from Houston did not take a long time and when we got there we thought we were in a 5 star hotel. The condo was gorgeous. With state of the art TV/DVD..ect. It was prefect for our popcorn and movie night. The patio was great. We could see all the kids down by the pool. If it was up to them, they would have slept in the pool. They all piled into the room with the bunk beds… That left plenty of room for us adults. The place was nice and clean and everything worked without any problems. I recommend this 3bedroom spacious condo to any large group or just for a small quick getaway. The Jacuzzi was nice and relaxing as well. Of course you could of walked to Schlitterbahn… but we drove. I can’t wait to go back and see the rest of the town… 3 days was just not enough time. I hope you all enjoy.

Dear Fonda, Thanks you for having us at the Redneck River Ranch, we had a great time! Loved the large patio that accommodated us all, A/C worked great, excellent modern TV and Stereo system, beautiful view from patio of large trees and open lawn where the old folks could relax while young ones played frisbee and football. Enjoyed swimming at both pools and meeting friendly people. We also really liked that we were in walking distance to the Cypress Bend Park that had a pebble beach to the river and a nice play area/sets for the kids with covered pavilion. We enjoyed visiting nearby Gruene and doing a walking tour there, very quaint and cute. Had a delicious dinner at the Gristmill Restaurant. Very relaxing stay. By the way, beds were super comfy too! We will definitely visit again, especially looking forward to when the kids are older and will be able to tube down the river!
