A beautiful place to relax

We spent a week at this home and loved every minute of it. My husband and sons fished from sunup to sundown everyday and my elderly mother in law enjoyed the deck and comfort of the well appointed home. I worked on my tan, bobbed around in the most gorgeous water of the perfect temperature and enjoyed long walks on white sandy beaches picking up one unique shell after another. I felt so relaxed and happy after our week at this heavenly place. If you are looking for a quiet, secluded, beautiful place to unwind and recharge, this is it! The Nichols are very nice to work with and we would love to return someday to this place.
Owner response:Thank you so much for the lovely review! Mike and I are so happy you enjoyed your stay and our home.

I had for sure my best vacation in this house! Being from Brazil I'm used with beautiful beaches but this one was beyong all my expectations! The house is really confy and well decorated inside, has everything you need, washer, dryer, etc. Outside there is a nice deck where I had my breakfast every single morning. Upstairs from the deck I was able to see the most beautiful sky at night, so many stars!!! The car makes everything easier, not that I was crazy to go back to the city, but if you need groceries and stuff, the car is right at the driveway anytime! (it's agood idea to stock up with groceries at the city before getting to the house). My kids had the most wonderful time, they really enjoyed playing with the boys from the settlement, everybody is really friendly here... I would like to come back in the future for sure!!! Thanks Mike and Karen!!!
Owner response:Luciane, Thanks for such a great review! Glad you and your family enjoyed it. Your picture on the beach was great! Mike and I really appreciate it.

The home was comfortable and clean. We loved the ocean water, and spent many hours just being in the ocean (warm and therapeutic). It was so nice just to relax, and not worry, about anything. My husband fished for red snapper, east of Pelican Point, the last town on the east side of the Island. Caught, 5 to 6 red snappers, each time he went out fishing. He had a great time. As for me I just wanted to stay longer. (We stayed 2 weeks) Our daughters got good tan! Thanks!

Within a few minutes of arriving, my boys were running up and down the beach with some of the local kids they became friends with. Normally, I have to twist their arms to play outside. On this trip, I couldn't get them in for meals. It was a great opportunity for them to connect with nature. In their nets, they caught crabs, shrimp, small lobster, fish, starfish, conch..... The house is modern, with central air, tasteful decor and DirectTV. Make sure you get everything you need in Freeport before you head east. Groceries and supplies are not available in Pelican Point.

The description on the web site lived up to and beyond our expectations. A fabulous place to relax and unwind set in beautiful suroundings and with a property of supurb taste and comfort. The full length deck on the beachside was great. The sound of the ocean was always in the backgound and you can watch the sunrise accross the water from the lounge or master bedroom. There were also magnificant sunsets along the beach. The owner provided excellent customer servce through a local resident. The nearby local community provided a sense of belonging. There are miles of unspoilt beach for beachcombing. There are no resturants or shops nearby so it is necessary to plan for self catering with the supermarket approx 45mins drive. I would thoroughly recommend this rental.
