The Village at Gruene Condominiums (pronounced Green) are the only condo's in Downtown Gruene-Home of the world reknown Gruene Hall and Gristmill Restaurant. Built in 1878, Gruene Hall is the oldest continually running dance hall in Texas and music birthplace to many great songwriters and musicians. Including George Strait, Ace in the Hole, Jerry Jeff Walker, Lyle Lovett, Joe Ely, Robert Earl Keen, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Hal Ketchum, Bruce and Charlie Robison, and many more. This little music/tourist Mecca is small but chock full of shopping, dining, entertainment and river activities. Just park your car and everything is within easy walking distance of the condo.
The condo's are brand new in 2009 and have a great pool and waterfront area with picnic tables and BBQ grills. The architecture is pure Gruene as you will see the influence of old Gruene on this new construction. Even the elevator looks like an old water cistern tower.
Our unit is all tile floors, granite and stainless kitchen, leather sofa/love seat, flat screen TV's and a great balcony to watch the sunsets and the tubers going down the river. All of the New Braunfels activities and attractions are just 10 minutes away.

This is where you can get rent your toob or a kayak and get in the river, float down into town and they will pick you up. OR you can have them take you up river and float back down to here and get o
Landa Park golf course is right down town. The park has a great train for yound and old alike and walk along the shortest river in the U.S.!
This is a REALLY nice library designed by a local architect. Check out the cemetary behind it and find the black tombstone facing the street that says "She made the best meatloaf" on the back of it!!!
Visit our historic downtown and walk up and down the street. See our Roundabout! The Art League has a VERY nice gallery, fun shopping, BE SURE AND VISIT THE OLDEST HARDWARE STORE IN TEXAS.....IT IS RE
This is our other rental. It isnt on the river but only about a few blocks away. It is close to Schlitterbahn and downtown and is a pretty fun place if i say so myself !
Go meet my friends, Gunter and Cornelia Dirks. Great authentic German food. The Dirks moved here from Germany just a few years ago. Music on most weekend nights.
