The Taos Territorial House (circa 1876) is a beautifully restored two story adobe home listed on the National Historic Register located just one-half block from the historic Taos Plaza. The traditional New Mexico style frontier home has: 3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, entertainment room with one sleeper sofa, giant plasma TV, formal den with Kiva fireplace, 2 porches upstairs with a computerized telescope, and 2 porches downstairs, one of which faces famous Padre Martinez Lane and is equipped with 8 rocking chairs, perfect for afternoon cocktails. The Territorial can easily sleep 6 adults in beds and 2 adults in the sleeper sofa.

The compound is comprised of three additional beautifully restored buildings listed on the National Historic Register and located on the common grounds. The compound is literally across the street from world class art galleries, museums, and gourmet dining. Each building has a private courtyard and a private hot tub. There is no other property like the Territorial Compound in Taos.
The compound grounds are beautifully landscaped and are breathtaking at night. A common private parking area provides safety and is located within steps of each individual building. Please see the compound diagram in the photo section.
To make sure your stay is as wonderful as possible the Taos Territorial Compound employs a local caretaker to daily oversee all aspects of the property. He is just a phone call away in the event of a problem or even something as simple as a restaurant suggestion.
