GO HOME RELAXED. Come and enjoy our unit at the Gulf Shores Plantation. A stay here will allow you to enjoy the beach as it should be. Gulf Shores Plantation has all the amenities one would expect to find at a resort yet provides a great getaway from the crowds. This is a spacious complex designed with families in mind. One can relax and enjoy a peaceful stroll along the shore watching for dolphins. There are multiple activities available on site including horseshoes, lighted tennis and basketball courts, as well as a fitness center. The complex features seven pools and multiple hot tubs, one of each located indoors in the building just a few steps behind our building. A sauna and steam room are also located there. There are numerous outstanding golf courses very close to the complex. The nationally recognized Kiva Dunes course is located at the Plantation. The beautiful Peninsula course and The Golf Club at the Wharf are both less than 10 miles away. You will pass these courses on the road out to the Plantation.
Our second floor unit is directly on the gulf. We feel it is the ideal unit. Our recently tiled balcony overlooks the beach and the most beautiful pool in the entire complex. Whether it is coffee in the morning or cocktails in the afternoon, the view from our balcony can't be beat. The unit is Wi-Fi ready in case you want to tell your friends what they are missing. Our unit has a Blu-ray TV combo in the den. We also have a DVD/VCR combination in the bedroom and a CD/radio for your convenience. Towels and sheets are provided. It has a COMFORTABLE queen size bed, a queen size sofa sleeper and a berth bed suitable for a child. The upper berth has been covered to make it easier to store luggage, etc. We also have a stand up pantry to store those snacks that are such a necessity at the beach. We have a dishwasher. The laundry is conveniently located very near our unit.
We were renters long before we were owners. We have kept that in mind as we furnished and decorated our condo. We have strived to make our unit one we would enjoy visiting. We hope and believe you will also.

This condo was perfect for our family beach vacation! The condo was very nice and plenty of room for a family of four! The beach view from the balcony was fantastic especially when the dolphins were swimming by! We could also watch our kids in the pool from the balcony. The beach access was just down the stairs and out the boardwalk. The guys at the parasail/jetski company on the beach were very friendly and fun. The umbrella & chairs rental was a nice convenience each day. The indoor pool and steam room were a great alternative when the afternoon sun was just too much. Thank you for sharing your home with those of us who need to "get away"!

My husband and I recently stayed at this condo with our 2 year old twins. It was perfect for us and the view of the ocean/pool was incredible. It's at a great location with a washer/dryer located right around the corner. The boardwalk out to the beach is close as well. We would definitely recommend this condo to others with a small family. We're ready to go back! :)

This was our second time staying at the Bankesters condo and both times have been wonderful! It really feels like your staying at a friends house than renting a place. The beach is gorgeous and right at your front door. Debbie had been a joy to work with and is very quick to respond to emails.The Dome Pool area with the heated pool and hot tub is amazing during the chilly fall nights! My only complaint has absolutely nothing to do with their condo or the beach or them, but I just want to warn people about the game room in the Dome Pool area. Do not put ANY money in them! On our second trip, my son was dying to play the games and I wasted $10 in change... Not a one of the games worked! But that was my only complaint... :) you live and learn :) But aside from that this is the only place I will stay from now on... Thank You Debbie!!!

We had a wonderful time at Ft.Morgan beach. This condo was perfect for my family of 4. I wouldn't recomend it for a family larger than 4. The views from the the balcony were awesome. The condo was in the perfect location, close to the indoor & outdoor pools and very close to the boardwalk to the beach. The beach was great too, not very crowded and plenty of room to spread out without being right next to someone else. The Bankester's were great to work with, they keep me up to date with all the latest info about the beaches and answered all questions I had. They made my first time with VRBO a breeze. We will definatley be going back in the future. Thanks so much!!!!!!!!

My husband, 18 month old daughter and I stayed for a week at the end of March. We had a great time and really loved the condo. It's location in the Plantation is perfect... close to the indoor pool and super close to the beach and 1 really nice pool that has a shallow end for youngsters. I only wish there was a hot tub and kiddie pool closer. We were under the impression that there was a kiddie pool near by but it was filled in with cement recently for some reason. The condo is decorated nice and cheerful. I wish they had more of the basics for cooking (like spices) so you didn't have to buy it all. Overall a great place. Next time we'll go later in the year because the pools were freezing. Debbie and her husband were attentive and great to deal with.
