Welcome to Chestnut Oak Lodge, a brand new cabin at Bryce Resort. Walk into our very clean and well maintained cabin and have your breath taken away. This newly constructed cabin is complete with 8 inch logs and wide plank old growth Eastern White Pine floors. The outside deck wraps 3 of the 4 sides of the house and you can see Lake Laura behind our cabin.
As the name implies we are surrounded by beautiful chestnut trees on our lot. This cabin features 3 bedrooms, a loft, gas fireplace, plenty of room, 2.5 baths, high speed internet, and loaded with fun for the entire family.
Enjoy the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and all that Bryce Resort has to offer. Escape the city for a weekend, go skiing, hike, fish, and come back to a splendid cabin. We look forward to having you as our guest.

We had the most wonderful stay here. The cabin is spotless, and stocked with everything you need plus more. There are toys, games, books, rockers in the secondary bedrooms. There are dishes, coking utensils (the good stuff!), a Kitchen-aid mixer, nice grill, tons of seating inside and out. We would love to stay here again BUT, although they advertise DirectTV, there is no ESPN and very few channels. If my husband new he wouldn't be able to watch college football on opening day, it might have been a deal breaker!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers.

However, in a matter of minutes we can add it during your stay. Please call us next time and we can remedy the TV channel lineup. Hope to see you back :)

I would say on a scale of 1-10 I give Chestnut Oak Lodge an 11! The beauty and appointments of this cabin are 5 stars. The booking process was a breeze and the owner walked me through the process if I had any questions. The Kitchen was perfect for anyone, but stellar for a rental.Did you find this review helpful? About the owner: Born and raised in Virginia and absolutely love the area. I rent 4 units (personally own 2 of them) and my goal is to offer the BEST vacation for my guests and make them love Virginia as much as I do. I'm an avid traveler and know what makes me happy from luxury resorts (all over the world) to small VRBO's and put those touches into my rentals. Down to earth, easy going, and will make sure you have what you need and get the most from your vacation. I don't sale, nag, or pester guests but give you what you want: relaxation and privacy. Weekend Oasis is family owned and operated, not big business -- you will notice our personal touches!
