We stayed in the Sweet Studio which was actually larger than the previous reviews we read indicated. It was cozy but very well laid out with plenty of storage for a week's stay for (2) plus a cat. We particularly enjoyed the semi-private patio for breakfast.The pictures of the grounds do no do them justice - they are much lusher and very private. We rarely saw the other guests and felt like we had the pool and spa all to ourselves. We would highly recommend Carla's Cottages to anyone vacationing in the area.

I stayed at the Sweet Studio for a couple days and it was perfect, peaceful and what a great location!...close enough access to the freeway, Santa Barbara, Butterfly Beach & Summerland. Carla could not have been kinder and was very helpful in having the hot tub turned on when heading home from an outing. I would definitely recommend her cottages to anyone. I wish I could have stayed there longer!!

Charming place to stay, small but cozy. Beautiful outdoor space for sitting, eating and reading. Lovely pool and hot tub area. We would certainly stay there again, perhaps in one of the larger cottages. Carla was extremely helpful and accommodating. Great location, gated and very private.

This was a pleasure from the minute we arrived. Carla greeted us at the gate, turned over the keys and explained the property which was good. We settled in for a nine night stay. Then spa and stars in the late evening were excellent and a great way to end the day. It is away from the town of Montecito and city of Santa Barbara, so if you want a private little get away then this certainly will be a great fit for you. Thanks Carla for a terrific week, we will be back!

My husband & I enjoyed this sweet studio immensely for several days! Carla was fabulous from start to finish. The grounds are lovely and serene. There are other cottages on the property and yet we never heard any loud noises nor had our privacy disturbed one bit. There were always clean pool towels available at the pool/spa. Carla offered to have the spa heated up and ready anytime we wanted with a simple text to her if we were offsite and coming back from a day trip around the area. Can't beat that at a 5 star hotel! The area is superb and restaurants in Montecito are delicious. Great biking area as well.

This exquisite property is a gem! Carla was very hospitable and knew the in's and out's of Montecito. She gave us great recommendations of restaurants to visit and beautiful sunsets not to be missed. Montecito is a very quiet, romantic getaway. The pool/jacuzzi area was one of our favorite spots to talk and relax. Our room was immaculately clean. The beautiful hardwood floors and custom antique bathroom counter were gorgeous. We will definitely be visiting Carla again soon!

My wife and I stayed in one of The cottages on the night of our wedding and we were so blessed to find this place. Not only was the owner as sweet in email correspondence, her personal style and welcoming demeanor made us feel at home. The cottages themselves were truly stunning. From a charming king sized bed to a bathtub that was made for Romans, we felt truly in love. The ambiance is quiet and pristine and the hammock adjacent to the pool is cozy enough to read for hours. Highly recommend this place for your next travels.

5 Star Bungalow in My Book

I'm almost afraid to share how wonderful this property is for fear it will get so booked up and I won't be able to come back to it. First of all, the owner is a complete delight. She handled things from beginning to end efficiently and professionally. However, the biggest payoff is the studio, the grounds, the location -- incredible. It is so comfortable and it felt like it was ours. The pool/hot tub is immaculate and the landscape is awesome. All of my friends were so jealous when they saw the pictures I sent. This is a perfect location to do day trips to the central coast wine country. The Lafond Deli is an awesome place to pick up a picnic lunch before heading up the coast. Also, treat yourself to dinner at Lucky's in Coastal Village. Sit at the bar and converse with the locals. It is very lively. Be sure to go to Butterfly Beach at sunset. Beautiful beyond words! Be good to yourself and visit this little oasis. You will not be sorry you did.

The cottages at Sweet Studio in Montecito are nothing short of magical! We found our stay charming and absolutely enjoyable. The photo's actually do not accurately show what a nice, serene and relaxing atmosphere the grounds of the cottages provide. you will arrive to find it even better than in the picture!! Everyone was nice and warm and friendly and, above all, quiet!!!!! A great getaway and extremely close to a lovely seaside village of shops and restaurants, groceries, , great hiking trails and, of course, the beach! Pet friendly. Book your stay ASAP.

Terrifif Getaway

This is a really terrific place 2 minute drive from Montecito village. Carla is wonderful and has good recommendations on area restaurants. The studio and the garden are neat, clean, and completely quiet at nights and mornings before some traffic nearby pick up, which I discovered to be an unavoidable almost anywhere in Montecito or Santa Barbara. Amenities are great and everything works. The swimming pool and hot tub are very pleasant. I have stayed in five star hotels around the world and think the value-to-price ratio for this one is sky high.

if you are looking for a peaceful, charming, absolutely magical spot to come and rest or be inspired in beautiful Montecito, look no further!! I enjoyed every single second of my time in the Sweet Studio, the beautiful pool area and peaceful garden. and to top it off Carla and her husband were the most fabulous hosts. kind, respectful, thoughtful and delightful. Dog Palace

When my yellow lab Buster arrived this year at Carla's the first thing he did was walk into her mother's apartment where he knew she'd be holding some treats for him. He was home where he could cool his paws in the wading pool if laying in the sun got him a little over warm. This year I had considered a house in town but after one look at at my dog's exposure to traffic there I was back on East Valley where Buster was well removed from having to ever be dealing with moving vehicles which he assumes are supposed to stop for him because that's what they do for him at his cul de sac in Colorado.

The Sweet Studio is a perfect place to stay for a romantic getaway! The accommodations are lovely and the pool is just steps from the cottage. Great location in Montecito. The owner (Carla) was very sweet and made us feel right at home. We will stay here again...Thanks for a wonderful weekend!
