Nestled in the heart of Western North Carolina in the tranquil Broad River valley is Raspberry Hill. Named for the large wild raspberry patch located behind the house, guests are welcome to go “berry-picking” in season. Raspberry Hill is an authentically-restored, early 1900's homestead.
Surrounded by 30 acres of beautiful mountains and valleys, Raspberry Hill welcomes guests of all ages and walks of life to enjoy a tranquil stay. Play football or soccer in an enormous field, fish in the creek, or enjoy long walks in the woods by day. Tell ghost stories around an outdoor fire, enjoy a big family dinner, feel the warmth of a wood fire in the living room, or simply relax on one of 5 porches at night. There is plenty of room to pitch tents and camp outside.
Each bedroom in Raspberry Hill has its own bathroom, a separate entrance, and a unique porch. There are 4 Full-sized beds and one Queen bed to sleep 10 comfortably. There is room in the living room for an air bed if needed. The fully equipped country kitchen is ready for a big family meal or a simple cup of coffee. The dining room has an antique table and dishes for a pleasing display. There is an 8-person hot tub to be hooked up and operational by Spring.
Antiques and restaurants are close by, with Black Mountain being only 9 miles away and Chimney Rock/Lake Lure about 11 miles. For the active lifestyle, there is so much to do in the area:
