Need a day to shop? No problem. Want some fresh baked goods? No problem. Want a much larger lake to spend a day? No problem! Glenwood is five miles away and features 5000+ acres on Lake Minnewaska, a good grocery store and even a corner bakery.
Alexandria is 20 miles away that offers great main street shopping and theatres. Websites to these cities are available to check ongoing activities. Both cities offer very fun summer celebrations as well.
Take a bike ride on nearby trails, walk a portion of the lake or play kickball on the back open lot. The activities are endless and relaxation is only a chair away.
Winter is a great time to snowmobile, ice fish or have fun on the lake with ATV's! The cabin is also set up in the winter for crafting with tables around the beautiful fireplace. Check it out for a winter retreat as well.
