The family was in town for a graduation and stayed at this property! It is gorgeous, with plenty of room for a good size family. Kitchen was easy to get around in and had all the necessary gadgets to make mealtime easy! We hope to return someday soon!

Beautiful Home and Great Vacation

We stayed here for five days in September and couldn't be happier with our choice. The home is gorgeous and the photos do not do it justice. The home is spacious, light-filled, well-designed and lovingly/thoughtfully decorated. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable, large and well-appointed; we slept soundly because it was so quiet. There are beautiful views from every room in the house. The yard and landscaping are lovely, as well. The housekeeping was top-notch; everything was spotless. We plan to return to this rental home with our extended family for another vacation in the beautiful Pacific Northwest in the future. The home is an easy 15-minute drive to Gig Harbor, by the way. If you need to be connected during your stay, I suggest you purchase a wireless card prior to your vacation. Just sitting on the back patio area - in between hiking trips to the utterly spectacular Mt Rainier - looking at the wildlife, water and mountains gave us a much needed rest. Recommended restaurants are Tide's Tavern and Anthony's in Gig Harbor, Massimo's in Purdy, and El Sombrero in Key Center. Activities: As I said, hiking on Mt Rainier from the National Park, renting kayaks in Gig Harbor, Olympic National Park, etc.

We recently enjoyed a weekend at this beautiful spot on Rocky Bay. We parked our car, took a deep breath and settled into everything this lovely home has to offer. We felt like guests in a fine boutique hotel. It is beautifully but comfortably furnished, with lovely artwork and touches of fresh flowers everywhere. The large gourmet kitchen, airy dining room and sunny patio are the gathering spots. We enjoyed fabulous meals, fine wine and long conversations. A bonus: no tv on the main floor to interrupt our reveries. The beach is endless and perfect for long walks and watching the ebb and flow of the tides. The property exceeds the photos and description. It was very clean and well maintained. The owner was quick to answer our questions by email and phone. I would highly recommend this property. This is by far the best vrbo we've stayed in. Thank you!

We had the best time at this beautiful high quality home. Everything was beautiful from the home decor to the well maintained gardens. We loved the little touches of flowers everywhere and the great art. It was bright and cheery for us to do our art because of all the windows, even though it poured all Sat. It was very comfortable for 8 adults and we all agreed that we will come back here again.

Exceeded our wildest expectations!

We knew from looking at the pictures that the house was beautiful but when we arrived it was even more wonderful than we had imagined. The house was spotless and obviously well maintained and the kitchen was so well stocked with every pan you might need, and more! We enjoyed some delicious meals and so enjoyed the view from the dining room. We stayed in the house with our extended family for the week leading up to our daughter's wedding. It was just the perfect place to be. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We look forward to returning when we come back to visit our daughter and our new son in law!

Gorgeous...Gorgeous...Gorgeous House

We rented your house for a surprised Baby Shower with a mini Spring Vacation for the kids. To our amazement, the house was beautifully decorated down to the white crown moldings and wall colors. Everyone kept saying that it felt more like a home than a vacation house that we've rented in the past. Your kitchen was a huge success where we spent most of our times. The stairs to the beach were a little steeped but the kids loved catching the little crabs and digging for clams. Everyone enjoyed their stay and were sad to leave such a relaxing place, especially the kids. We will refer friends and family to your place in the future and perphaps return ourselves again for Baby's 1st Birthday. Thank you for letting us share your wonderful home.

The house is absolutely beautiful with all the amenities you need for your stay. The master bedroom has a fabulous master bath and both have views of the bay and the Olympics from every window. The beach is just steps away and you can find mussels, oysters and clams at low tide. The location is away from all the noise of the city and perfect for a family getaway. Shopping and dining is only a short drive away. We'll definitely come back later in the year when we can spend more time outdoors.

We were a group of 10 ladies celebrating a 40th birthday. We had Chef Sara cook us a wonderful birthday meal in the well appointed kitchen! Our weather was outstanding for early March and we played board games outside and explored the beach. Now we have to think of an excuse to make it an annual event!

"Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay - your house is lovely and the fresh flowers in the house were such a nice touch. The weather was perfect letting us enjoy many hours on your patio and some time on the beach. The only slight problem was that with nine adults, my son-in-law ended up in one of the twin beds which was a little short for him. (He ended up in that room because their children loved the room!) I should also say that the children and the rest of us absolutely loved the room off the kitchen with the toys and games. It was so perfect - the children felt that they had a special place and it kept the toys out of the rest of the house. We definitely plan to return. Again, thank you for making your home available and the whole process very easy."

"Your home was perfect. We could not have had better weather, which was a nice surprise. We didn't get to the house until after dark on Friday, so waking up to that spectacular view was amazing. Thanks for everything!"

"It is such a beautiful place and provided a perfect setting for our family get- together. From the S'mores at the fire-pit in the evening to the fresh blackberries with our breakfast, it was perfect. We have the puncture wounds to prove that the delicious blackberries were fresh!! Pam and our daughters loved (LOVED!!!!) the kitchen."

"We wanted to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed the rental house. The house itself is beautiful as it is but adding in the view and watching the sunset right from the deck was amazing. Everything was available and you did a nice job with the decor, it really felt like home. My husband and I as well as the family love the house and will keep your information on file for future use."

"Your property was absolutely beautiful! My wife and I commented that if we ever decide to build a house we need to get a copy of your plans. We both thought the layout was perfect and flowed very well from room to room. Thanks again, and we will definitely keep this house on our list for future stays."

Relaxing adventure

We had a great time in Rocky Bay! The kitchen is magnificent, we found ourselves centered around food, wine and conversation while watching the tide come and go. We spent lots of time exploring the Key Peninsula and surrounding areas... We were surprised to find out that the 2 Margaritas restaurant in Allyn is a sister to the 3 Margaritas where we eat here in Denver...great food! The house is beautiful, with virtually every room having views of the water. We found everything we needed for cooking, and plenty of good books that we read on the rainy days. There are about a gazillion ways to get to Seattle from Rocky Bay, we had a wonderful time avoiding the Seattle traffic by taking back roads and the ferry system. Gig Harbor is a really wonderful place with a long waterfront walk, lots of good food and fun shops. Thanks for making this home available!!!
