The beautiful modern kitchen is located on the 2nd floor along with the dining room, massive living area and large king master bed and bath. Located in the Avalon Estates you also have access to the private beach, community pool, tennis courts and shuffle board. You are also close to shopping at the Outlet Mall in Sandestin or Destin Commons. We are offering a Saturday to Saturday check-in / check-out. The property is owner managed and meticulously maintained and cleaned. Emerald Palace has granite countertops thru out the home - even in closets. It has every amenity you could want for a fabulous vacation at your home away from home!

- The home consist of three (3) master suites each with their own private bath. Two downstairs masters have french doors that lead to the private pool and share a small living area w/ morning kitchen, washer/ dryer, and tv. One has a shower tub combo and the other has a walk in shower. The upstairs master is apx. 800 sqft with unobstructed view of the ocean. It has a walk in shower, jacuzzi tub, private washer / dryer, tv in cabinet, plantation shutters, massive closet, and double vanity. Tv's available in two masters, two living areas, and the bunk room. The private pool has heating capabilities and has lights for night swimming. Community pool in the rear is also heated and has private bathrooms. There are lots of chairs and tables up and down to enjoy views and outdoor gathering. The house and location were great. The house is as advertised with perfect views of the gulf. The bedroom upstairs was very nice with a bathroom area you could only compare to something you would see in a celebrities home. The livingroom area upstairs was huge and the kitchen was nice with all top of the line appliances. The bedrooms downstairs were nice but mostly used just for sleeping on our part. We had 6 adults and 4 kids and room to spare. We split our time between the beach and the community pool. The beach was just across the street with private gate access. The community pool was very big and exceptionaly maintained. The whole neighborhood was perfectly landscaped. The house is very close to several restaurants and shopping areas. Our favorite by far was the Crab Trap. We met the owners fo the home and they were both very nice wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. If we ever return to Destin we will stay here again.

We are a faimly of five -- 3 adult children, my husband, and myself. ALL of us thoroughly enjoyed the week we spent in this home in May, 2011. First of all, the location is PERFECT. It is just across old highway 98 and an open beach area -- so the view of the ocean from the 2nd floor family is breathtaking. The house itself is truly lovely and spacious with many high end finishes -- tall ceillings and doors, lovely woodwork and moldings, travertine tile, good kitchen, a master bedroom suite that would please the most discriminating of tastes. From the many large windows and atrium doors of the family room the vew of the ocean was AMAZING. And that was from the inside -- just wait until you step out onto the balcony and the cool ocean breezes.... The home also has a nice, but very small, private pool -- but a perfect size for lounging by in the late evenings. We also had access to the large neighborhood pool which is about a 10 minute walk from the home -- but since the beach is so close we spent most of our time there when we were not at home, As far as shopping and dining -- excellent choices are within walking distance, should you be so inclined. Captain Dave's is one of our favorite places and just a few minutes walk away. And there is something for just everyone when shopping at the huge Silverstrand Outlet Mall which is just a couple of miles away. It was our sincere pleasure to meet the owners while we visited in there in Florida - a very charming young couple with 2 beautiful children. They were in process of updating the TVs and electronic equipment in the home, so it will be even better when we return next time!
