You'll feel 'at home' in our 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath house which is 1/4 mile from the beach. It's FULLY furnished and equipped. The gourmet kitchen has everything you'll need. We have wireless internet and a flat screen TV in the living room. There are books, indoor and outdoor games, a bike, a boogie board and much more for your use and enjoyment. Many of our renters return yearly to use their 'San Diego home' again. 4 Night Minimum.
Grandview is the closest beach, but Beacon's and La Costa are right there too. Restaurants and shopping are abundant in North County. The house is close to Legoland, the Carlsbad Flower Fields and the Del Mar Race Track. Seaworld, the Wild Animal Park and La Jolla are not far. The beaches are the best you'll find anywhere and there are many great golf courses nearby too. Be sure to see the kite boarders at sunset in Solana Beach and the para gliders over Torrey Pines. It's an easy Coaster ride into San Diego. Don't miss the weekend Farmer's Markets. We have maps and info at the house to help you decide where to go and what to do.

We love being active outdoors and being close to the water. Our home in Encinitas is a perfect place for us to enjoy all the things we love to do and the abundance of warm, sunny weather.
Why the Owner Chose Encinitas
We bought this house because it was unique in the area and had a generous front and backyard. The house itself has a great floor plan and we knew we wouldn't grow tired of the house or the location. We have remodeled the house since we purchased it and it's even better now than before. We see it as a home we can retire to one day and we love it more each year.
The Unique Benefits of this House
When we stay in our home, we love to hear the birds in the morning and sit on the back patio and marvel at the color and beauty in the yard. Looking out from inside the house is a real pleasure as there are flowers to be seen from most windows. We enjoy the privacy of the backyard.
The kitchen is spacious and has everything we need. The house in not cluttered but has special touches that make it inviting and interesting.

We stayed at this beautiful home over the New Year holiday and it felt like an extension of our own home. Pictures truly do not do it justice. Every room was extremely comfortable and the living room with gas fireplace and amazing kitchen were very welcoming for a relaxing stay on the north coast of San Diego with our in-laws and 3 year old child. The house has so much to offer- a beautifully landscaped yard, grill, patio, huge living area, fully equipped kitchen, more books and games than you could imagine, and a stellar location in Leucadia. You can walk to the playground or travel a couple of blocks north or south for access to the beach. Just a great place. We will be staying again. Thanks!

We were in transition from Brazil to San Diego and rented Nancy & Wayne`s house for a month. It felt like home and our 2 boys (4 ½ and 2 ½) especially loved it. Great fenced in yard for them to run and close to Moonlight Beach that has a great playground. Nancy is an unbelievably gracious host. Her attention to the details and her sincere desire for you to enjoy her house and your stay gives the house a special energy and magic. It really couldn’t have been a more relaxing and enjoyable way to spend our first month in the US.

The home that we rented in Encinitas, CA made our vacation the perfect get away! It is charming and warm with beautiful gardens and in the perfect location to see the entire San Diego area easily. The spaciousness in each of the rooms made all of us very comfortable and the back yard was so welcoming with the grill and patio available for eating in. My favorite was the huge fully supplied kitchen. We look forward to our next cool trip to Encinitas and will definitely go back to this rental home! We were 100% satisfied with our choice!

I absolutely loved staying at Nancy and Wayne's beautiful home near the beach. The landscaping alone is worth the visit. Flowers and beautiful flowering trees everywhere. It is very private and quiet. The home has a very large and well appointed kitchen. It has a comfortable and nicely decorated living room. From a flat screen T.V. to a bar-b-que, it has everything you would need to have a 5 Star vacation. The difference in this home and a suite in a resort, is space and privacy. Just bring your tooth brush, because Nancy and Wayne decorated this with first class furnishing just like you have in your own upper middle class home. You will want to come every year. It might be fun to come on different times of the year. Southern California is nice 24/7 365. Kim

This house is GREAT! Everything you need at your fingertips! I'd recommend it to anyone! Great for family gatherings at the beach! conveniently located, close by everything, the beach and stores!! So fun!!I can't wait for our next visit!
