The Sabini apartment is located on one of Rome's most desirable historic areas, very near the Spanish Steps on a street famous for its old world charm, elegance and proximity to the sites. On the street and around the corner are some of Rome's most elegant and expensive boutique hotels. The Sabini apartment is a bargain by comparison.
Sleek clean lines and complete amenities make this a comfortable and organized apartment. It offers desirable features that include a king sized bed, a terrace, air conditioning and a dryer.
Off the apartment entry foyer is an attractive and well-lit hallway that houses the kitchen with bedrooms and bathrooms off the opposite side.. Proceed through into the sleek modern kitchen fitted within the corridorThe open plan kitchen leads to the living room, a good layout so families and friends can enjoy socializing between the living/dining area and the kitchen, which are all connected.
A sunny living room/dining room has two windows that overlook the street below, the windows are large and fill the room with light. Italian-chic modern L-shaped sofa, a matching armchair and modern lamp make up the living room area which also features a flat-screen TV. The sofa converts to a double bed. Everything is well organized and carefully thought out for guests' comfort, with minimal clutter and distractions.
The dining area is bright with a handsome table that seats 6. The same modern, monochromatic tone is carried through in this area, accented with a fine, beautifully framed antique painting on the wall. Italians have such a flair for mixing modern with traditional.
The electronics here are complete with a large television with Satellite reception, iPod/iPhone dock, PS3 game console with some games, wifi as well as direct cable internet and a wifi printer.
A thoughtful set of Rome guidebooks has been provided for use by guests.
The kitchen is a model of precise planning and quality finishes. The shimmer of stainless steel countertops, neatly organized glassware and dishes are reflected in the wall-to-wall mirror on the opposite wall. It's a clever use of the corridor that leads to the living room. The uncluttered harmony seen in the living room is carried through in a pleasing way here too. The kitchen has a 4-burner induction stove top, convection oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, drip and Italian coffee pots.
Backtracking down the corridor is the master bedroom, with ample closet space and a window out to the attractive terrace. The bedroom has a king size bed, another rarity in Italian vacation rental properties.
There is a split bathroom off the corridor, just before the terrace. On one side is an enclosed shower and sink. On the other side is a toilet, bidet and sink.
An important feature is that the bedrooms are positioned in the middle of the apartment, each with a window that opens to the terrace. Because they are not near the street, they offer a tranquility not possible with street-facing views.
In the middle of the apartment is the very pleasant, shady terrace with a table and 3 chairs, a quiet retreat for sipping your morning espresso or enjoying a glass of wine at night.
The second bedroom is also off the corridor leading back towards the entry foyer. It has cute child-friendly decor with bunk beds and an adjoining bathroom with enclosed shower, sink and toilet.

Great Rome flatGuest comment entered by manager
Great Rome flat
Wonderfully kept flat in a perfect location near the Spanish Steps. The caretaker was very prompt in answering all questions and could not be more helpful. 2 generously sized bedrooms, 1 with bunk beds, and very quiet in the evening. The photos and description were accurate. We did not use the appliances as we were out and about for the 4 days we visited Rome, so can't comment there.

Great spotGuest comment entered by manager
Sabini is very nicely situated.....everything you need is close by. Rosie, the greeter, was great! The arragements we made by phone before we left were perfect......and Rosie was very helpful during our stay. One note for future renters: the bunk beds are very small, suitable for younger children. The 16 year old in our party found the bed too short..... Thanks to Italy Perfect for helping make our trip to Rome so special.

Location was ideal
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Sabini! The location was ideal (never used any transport, walked everywhere), the property was fully equipped including umbrellas, very clean and organized , well decorated, spacious and comfortable for our family of 5. Rosie and Stefano were punctual, courteous and very helpful. I have already recommended the apartment to any colleague traveling to Rome in the near future. Your rental service was extremely well organized and made our arrangements very easy. One never knows when buying over the Internet and you have definitely made our first vacation rental the first of many. Our roman experience was simply amazing thanks to the reservation and apartment itself.

We really liked the location
My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Sabini apartment in Rome. The apartment was modern, clean and spacious. There were five of us and we had plenty of room to spread out. We really liked the location near the Spanish Steps. We spent most of our time walking or taking the subway and both were easy to do from our location. The greeter was there as planned to meet us and explained everything in the apartment and also gave us some helpful sightseeing and restaurant tips. Overall, I really enjoyed working with your company from my initial phone call to discuss the apartments I was considering, to your responsiveness to my e-mail questions before the trip, to the apartments themselves and to the greeters. I had been very pleased with a vacation apartment rental we had through Paris Perfect a few years earlier and found Italy Perfect also to be reliable and deliver both quality properties and helpful service. I have recommended your company to people I know who are considering trips to Italy in the future.

Location was perfect
Our stay at the Sabini was the perfect base from which to explore Rome with our children. The apartment more than comfortably accomodated our party of 6, which included a grandparent, parents and children. The kids loved the bunk bed! The kitchen was top notch and made it easy to prepare a quick meal, when we weren't eating at one of the many nearby restaurants. The location by the Spanish Steps was just perfect with sightseeing, shopping and gastronomy on our doorstep. The service provided by Italyperfect was extremely professional. Rosie, the greeter, was so helpful in explaining the details of the apartment and the local amenities. Also, the Greycar service recommended by Italyperfect, was excellent. Stefano, the driver, picked us up from the airport and took us on a day trip to Pompei and Naples. The latter was a day all 3 generations thoroughly enjoyed. I hope my wish to revisit this pied a terre in Rome will come true!

Exceeded our expectations!
We had an incredible trip to Italy. Many, many thanks to Italy Perfect for all of your advice and information on preparing for the trip. You prepared us for using appliances, document prep, contact information, sites and restaurants to visit, and so forth. The Sabini apartment exceeded our expectations. Rosie, our greeter, was prompt, helpful and very friendly. The apartment was exceptionally clean, perfect for a family of 5, and more importantly, it was located close to so many special sites. We loved walking and shopping near the Spanish Steps and running through the Borghese Gardens. The children's favorite meal of the entire trip was purchasing fresh pasta around the corner at the Mercato and cooking it in the apartment! The apartment offered a lovely respite from an active day in and around the city. There were opera singers performing just about every night across the street, to boot. Thank you for your prompt attention and definitely for the trip preparation as it was our first trip abroad.

We were thrilled with all aspects of our stay.
We rented the Sabini apartment in Rome for 10 days and it was amazing. Both the apartment and the location OVER delivered. We were thrilled with all aspects of our stay. It was and amazing place for myself and the kids to explore Rome. And my husband was able to work with great efficiency and enjoy his time (while not working) exploring the city with us.

some things to consider.
some things to consider.
Although the place is fully renovated, very nicely decorated and very well located, we thought that there were some things that don't justify the very high price. 1) The bathrooms are just too small (even for european standards) 2) They make you pay for electric power consumption at the end of your stay if you go over a limit. We were very conscious with our use of power and used twice the energy they included in the price. 3) Even though we were in the apartment on time, the greeter was late to receive us in the apartment and we had to wait over half an hour in the street with our luggage and 3 small kids. 4) A special mention to the greeters bad attitude, rudeness and unhelpfulness. She was really impolite and rude on every interaction we had with her. Overall, although the place is nice and well located, I think the service and treatment we got was really subpar. We have travelled to rented apartments in many cities and we think this one is too expensive for what you get.

Perfect stay in RomeGuest comment entered by manager
Perfect stay in Rome
Our group thoroughly enjoyed our week in Rome. The Sabini was perfectly located being just a couple of blocks from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. The size of the apartment was great - especially the fact that there were two bathrooms! Rosie, our greeter, was very nice. In fact, she knew she was going to be a little late in meeting us at the appointed time so sent a friend along to let us in to the apartment. Everthing went very smoothly regarding the initial meeting. We also used a tour person that was recommended by a friend of mine. His name is Driss Dahmane. His email: email@example.com Phone number is: +39 392 1510749 He was reasonable and spoke perfect English. The other item I would suggest if you are looking for a great dinner is the restaurant at the top of the Spanish Steps. We had a special dinner there to celebrate my Mom's 75th Birthday and they were great. Even made her a birthday cake. The name of the restaurant: Trinita' De Monti Ristorante. We had a great time during our stay. The only recommendation that I would make is to have a guest book in each of your apartments. When we used the Paris Perfect site a couple of years back there was a guest book. The group I was with enjoyed very much reading the notes from the past guests. I think Italy Perfect guests would enjoy the same. Thank you for a "Perfect" stay in Rome! I would highly recommend the site.

Just as advertised - We Didn't Want to Leave
Great location, clean, spacious, and nicely furnished apartment that matched the online description exactly. The greeter, Rosie, was lovely. Beds were comfortable, there was plenty of room for our clothes and other stuff. We were able to spread out and enjoy our home away from home - parents and teenage daughter each had the necessary space. We didn't use the kitchen beyond simple snacks and breakfasts. Appliances (dishwasher, washer, dryer) all worked well. There are ample guidebooks that we used as well as our own. The showers/bathrooms are much smaller than us, so if that's an issue for you, be aware. They are typical size for Italy. Water pressure was excellent and there was always hot water. The apartment is an easy flight of stairs up from street level. We recommend the restaurant right across the street - Sofia's. The amatriciana is delicious! Pizza Ciro right down the street on Via de Mercede is a convenient pizza place. The grocery store is an easy walk, and there is another wonderful retaurant called That's amore right next to the Despar (grocery store). Gregory's Jazz Bar is a 30-second walk from the front door and offers live music at night beginning at 10:30. We walked everywhere as the apartment is very centrally located. There are two metro stops very close that we did use one day. Pat at Italy Perfect was incredibly helpful and supportive, especially when my computer "ate" all my previous emails and I'd lost all the necessary information! The driver she recommends, Stefano, was prompt, friendly, and courteous. Although you can take the train from FCO airport into Rome, the convenience of a driver can't be overstated. Rome was clean, safe, and gorgeous. Learn a few key phrases and you'll have no problems at all. Sabini was a wonderful home away from home. We would stay there again, and we would definitely choose Pat's company for future travel!

About: This apartment is offered by Italy Perfect. We are a family business with a mission! We want you to love visiting Italy as much as we do. We are sisters Lisa and Pat Byrne who lived in Italy in our youth and now travel there frequently for business and pleasure. We offer only short term rentals that we carefully hand pick for their locations, furnishings, amenities, and that we can personally recommend and would want to stay in ourselves. We travel frequently to inspect, and usually stay in, the rentals we represent. We select vacation rentals that offer charm, good locations, cleanliness, quality furnishings and hospitable welcomes. We count the number of steps up to the property, check the size of the refrigerator, shower, listen for noise, inventory the kitchen equipment and even inspect the mattresses. This is our most important point of differentiation which sets us apart from many other vacation rental firms. Even with careful advance research and personal connections, we still choose to not represent more than 50% of the properties we visit. And, once we agree to represent a property we regularly re-inspect it to ensure our standards are being met.
Why Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps):
There is something to love in Italy for everyone. If you love art and history, Italy is marvelous. But you don't have to be crazy about art and history, nor do you have to speak Italian. Do you like fashion, shopping, cars, geology, photography, relaxation, hiking, biking...? There are riches of every sort waiting for you in Italy. And the foundation for your enjoyment of Italy is its rich culture and wonderful people. It is impossible to appreciate the Italian culture in a dispassionate manner; you will, at every turn, meet the hospitable, gentle, courteous, friendly, and happy Italian people. That is why vacation rentals are so wonderful; you get to meet people and the culture in person.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
We want you to love your vacation, love Italy, and love the service of Italy Perfect. Sincerely, Pat & Lisa Byrne
