My wife, I and our four children stayed here August, 2011. The house was better than advertised with attractive woodwork, spacious rooms, and the most relaxing back yard one could hope for. This is a house where all the family can gather in the beautiful oak dining room, or the living room to watch a movie, or at the several tables around the pool. On the other hand, if you want to sneak away to read a book it's easy. We love the area and from the town of Conway many great places are accessible. You're out of the North Conway traffic but close enough to the retaurants and shops that it's only a 5 minute drive. Bridgton Maine is nearby and, of course, the White Mountains are in your backyard. We rent lots of houses through VRBO and this is one of the several 5 stars we have been fortunate to choose. We'll likely return some winter to ski at the many nearby resorts. By the way, the owners met us at the house and gave us the grand tour. They take exceptional care of the house and the beautiful backyard grounds.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

A stay at the Conway Classsic is a very warm and comfortable experience. Lots of room, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, ample washrooms, and central location to so many points of interest. Our party has rented many properties in MtWashington valley. The Conway Classic was/is easily the nicest to come home to so far.Cheers to our hosts! S.L.Wright

Our family spent a fantastic week here. The exterior of the house and pool area match the wonderful pictures on the web, but the interior exceeded our expectations. The architectural features and woodwork are beautiful, and the owners' furnishings made it seem more like a home than a rental. There were 8 adults and 2 babies, and there was plenty of room for all of us. At the house we enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, eating in the wonderful dining room overlooking the back yard, watching movies from a variety of video selections, swimming in the pool, canoeing in the pond at the back of the property, and flying kites in the wide expanse of lawn between the pool and the pond. The house was also well situated as a base for touring the area; we visited Vermont, Maine, and the White Mountain area as well as shopping in North Conway. Our family wholly enjoyed the week we spent here and plan to return.

The pictures of this home do not do it justice. It is breath taking as is the area. We visited the home to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. He would not have wanted to be any places else. When we went site seeing daily we had to drag ourselves away from such beauty. The Canadian Geese completed the atmosphere. Being from the south this is something we don't get to see. The kitchen was to die for! Everything we needed and more. The bed's where great and the locals where also great. This vacation was one of the best we had been on in a long time and the house played a large part in making this a memorialable vacation. Looking forward to visiting again.

Can't recommend Denise or this house enough! Denise was a pleasure to deal with and making booking/arrival/departure arrangements was straightforward and uncomplicated. Now the house - Wow. 4 wonderful bedrooms upstairs (2 of which are plenty large enough for airbeds if need be), not to mention the "dressing room" to the master bedroom where we actually set up an airbed too, creating a small 5 bedroom upstairs. Closets full of towels, sheets, faceclothes, toilettries, cleaning supplies, games, dvd's, books - the list goes on. House was beautiful throughout, right from the first moment walking into the foyer. Even the basement is spotless! OUr family party of 8 ladies called this our "mansion" - shopped all day, and came back to the house often for "pit stops" as it is so handy (yet away from the traffic of Hwy. 16. We were thrilled as we got to the see the steam engine chug past the house. The grounds were gorgeous (plant lovers and bird lovers will appreciate Denise's gardens (cardinals in the shrubs!)). Enjoyed our evening sitting around the huge dining table playing cards. Livingroom is huge and you'll love the fireplace. The pond out back is beautiful (home to some Canada geese) Only regrets - couldn't stay longer and it wasn't pool/hot tub season. Thanks Denise - I'm sure we'll see you in the future. You should be proud of the beautiful home you keep. It was the nicest place we've ever stayed in. Elegant, but homey.

Our group of 4 couples had a wonderful time ringing in the New Year at this beautiful home! We found it spacious yet cozy, with every amenity to make us feel right at home. The fireplace and great movie collection made for perfect lazy mornings, and the foosball table provided hours of entertainment! We are already talking about booking again this summer to enjoy the pool!

To anyone considering this home: I rent a lot of homes from on line services, but this is by far the nicest home we have stayed at! We absolutely enjoyed our time here. Everything about the home was great! My little guy played out on the ice in the back yard. (Me and my oldest daughter skied)... My daughter Emily (6 YO) seemed to love the staircase the best. She played on it with all her dolls... She and my little guy also did a lot of exploring and even played hide and seek... (lots of places to hide!) My wife and sister in law also loved the place. They found it very clean and my wife kept up with the laundry (she has a thing for that!)... It was just the perfect home for us all to relax, play games, completed puzzles and watch movies... You also have quite a movie collection yourself... Both my daughters also loved the 3PM kids show, the Children's theater which played all week... Again, I very much appreciate the use of your home last week! We are already talking about staying there again next year, but for a full week next time, 5 days was not enough. I HIGHLY recommend this home to anyone that is looking for a nice place and is willing to treat it as such!! PS/ the beds were comfy too!!!

We just got back from a wonderful weekend at this beautiful house. It was just as relaxing and comfortable as the first time we were there, the house is big but has a very warm feeling to it,space for those who want privacy, but room for those who want to be all together, enjoyed coming back after a day of shopping, curling up to read a good book ,or just watching a good movie.we met the owner for the first time after many e-mails,she is just as nice as I thought she would be.We have already made reservations for next year,What a wonderful ending to summer and a beautiful begining to fall, can't wait to go back.
