Why the Owner Chose Caribbean Dunes
We vacationed in Destin 3 or 4 years before we decided to purchase our condo. Destin has the cleanest beaches; fine white sand and clear water. Last year we were in Destin and there wasn't a wave in sight. The water was extremely clear...it was BEAUTIFUL! I felt like I was in the Caribbean! The condo is about 20 minutes from Valparaiso airport (VPS). Destin is such a family friendly place, we just enjoy the feeling we get when we are visiting!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We LOVE the fact that everything is so close to our condo! We rent bikes for the week and take bike rides in the morning up Scenic Highway 98, which runs right by our condo. So no need to get on busy public roads to access to the paved walking/riding trail. We enjoy looking at the beautiful houses and find different restaurants on our bike rides. We visit the Destin Commons Mall atleast twice during our visit to enjoy the shopping, breakfast and coffee at Panera. The mall has an outdoor playground and train (which runs during certain times of day) and is a fun place for families. The outlet mall is about a 5 minute drive from the condo. There a several choices for grocery shopping less than 5 minutes away (anything from Fresh Market to Walmart) . We love the fact that the beach is SO close. It's less than a block away. It's perfect for those families that have children because you don't have to tote all of your stuff far, and if you forget something at the condo it's right there! The location is great because you can take a break from the beach and eat lunch and enjoy the pool which is across the street no more than 50 steps away.
