The Living Room boasts a plush sofa and oversized chairs for you to kick back and relax. The Family Room features a cozy sectional sofa with recliner, leather ottoman, 42” LCD TV with cable TV and DVD player. An inviting Dining Room offers seating for up to 8 at a sizeable round table perfect for conversation, planning the next adventure or a game of poker. The kitchen offers all you need to prepare your favorite meal or serve your favorite “take out.” Here you will find blender, toaster, indoor grill, coffeemaker, rice cooker, and other surprising extras.
The private balcony just off the dining room offers plenty of seating for all to enjoy the breathtaking view and picture perfect sunsets. The Master Suite is an escape all unto itself with a king size bed, mirrored dresser, walk-in closet, and private bath. The Second Bedroom features two 5-inch post twin beds and tall mirrored closet doors that make this room bright and airy. For extra sleeping there is a sofa bed in the Family room.
This condo offers special touches to make your stay enjoyable including beach gear, (towels, beach bag, chairs, cooler, beach toys, etc.), entertainment (table/board games, DVD library), a comfortable working desk, Internet access and other special extras.
This prime location is minutes from some of the best beaches on the island including Crashboat Beach (3 min)and Jobos (10 min). Puerta del Mar is a secure, modern, gated community with controlled access and security guard. This inviting escape offers getaway spots where you are sure to find serene and tranquil moments - lounge by one of the 2 adult swimming pools, relax on one of the canopy beds with seascape view, or enjoy a drink on the sundeck by the gazebo or the miradero with a view of Aguadilla Bay. For the more active vacationer, the area is bursting with adventure both on and off the water -- snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, surfing, biking, hiking, a round of golf...
For the tourist in you -- take a scenic drive to explore the many area attractions - Hike the Guajataca State Forest Park (~40 min away); Visit the world's largest radio telescope at the Arecibo Observatory (~45 min away); Tour the 3rd largest underground caves at the Rio Camuy Cave Park (~30 min away); or take a drive to the southwest part of the island to see La Parguera Bioluminescent Bay (~1 hour away). Our condo has maps of the island and tourist magazines for your viewing. Once your reservation is confirmed we will provide you with detailed information about the area to help you plan your stay. We are frequent visitors of this island and former residents.
The condo is convenient to various essential locations: Supermarkets, bakeries and eateries are located less than two 2 miles away; Local area shopping malls/centers are 5 to 10 minutes away. An active Military Exchange is less than 10 minutes away. An office supply store and a Postal service store are less than 2 miles away. Life doesn’t get any better than this! Our sub-penthouse overlooks our favorite beach on the island, Crash Boat Beach, which is just a 3 min. drive from the condo. Jerry always dreamt of having a place in Aguadilla with an ocean view from where he could watch the sun set into the ocean at the end of each day. He (and you too) can do this now from the privacy of our sub-penthouse balcony.
You can fly into the Raphael Hernandez International Airport (BQN) and in less than 10 minutes you are in “your dream” home away from home. The condo is perfectly situated to explore the northwest and western part of the island. Some of the best beaches on the island are in Aguadilla and its surrounding area. The area is very popular for scuba diving, snorkeling and surfing although other water sports abound.
We are pretty familiar with the area and welcome the opportunity to help you plan your stay. In the condo you will find, in addition to tourist magazines, detailed information of area attractions, things to do, places to eat, and more.

The name says it all. This was one of Liz's favorite beaches to lay back and relax. Its not very crowded, the sand is a bit coarser and you can find some cool shells.
Less than 10 min. from condo this casino offers over 180 gaming machines, game tables (8 total, 2 for poker) & a bar just off the casino (live band on special days.)
Enjoy long walks, beachcombing, snorkeling or surfing here. There are restaurants along the shoreline. 2 of our favorites are Luna Marina and Ocean Front.
Location of the Old Punta Borinquen Lighthouse ruins. A quiet location to sun bathe and relax. Wilderness, a popular surfing spot, is just up from Borinquen Beach.

My husband and I grew up in Aguadilla. Our love of Crash Boat Beach brings us back every year. Although, we have family and friends in Aguadilla, Jerry always wanted a place in Puerto Rico that he could call our “home away from home.” When Jerry learned about Puerta del Mar he jumped at the opportunity to purchase a condo with a view of the ocean. We have found it to be the perfect place for family vacations as well as a quiet, relaxing and fun getaway for couples or a group of friends. Our 2 boys absolutely love it there. We have lived in Maryland for 18 years and have vacationed in Aguadilla every year except for one.
