Casa Pepem is in Merida's historic heart at a prime location, thus offering easy walks to the Main Zocalo, Plazas Sta Anna & Sta Lucia, Peseo de Montejo. Many guests have recognized Casa Pepem from the 18th century colonial house renovated on HG's "International House Hunters" show or have just fallen in love with it's character, charm, and traditional feel. Enjoy the main casita with living room, dining room, separate kitchen, Victorian guest bedroom and totally modern bath. There is a back garden with an avocado tree and palms, a sunny back terrace with seating and a trickling fountain. A covered loggia leads from the main casita to the separate Mexican Modern Master Suite with its barrel vaulted ceiling-roof in the back. Remote controlled air conditioning and ceiling fans in every room provide comfort from the heat. Casa Pepem includes all the amenities needed to enjoy an adventurous or tranquil stay for a few days or weeks without the expensive costs of a hotel. Imagine enjoying morning coffee and Yucatan breezes on the terrace or loggia as you contemplate the garden. A professional local and bilingual property manager is there to greet you and meet your special needs. Parking is available on the street or with a local garage down the block. Rising interest in its colonial history, lively cultural activities and nightlife have been making Merida a highly desirable place to visit and live.
RESERVATIONS & POLICIES
A 50% Deposit of the reservation is required at time of confrimation and is refundable 30 days prior to check in date. The remaining balance plus security deposit is due 30 days prior to arrival date. Reservations made within 30 days of arrival date require 100% payment.
Payment can be made through PayPal using PAYMENT at CASAPEPEM dot COM. A US Bank check can only be used for the first deposit and requires 30 days to clear.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A minimum $99.00 partially refundable security deposit is required with each reservation. It includes a $1,500.00 Property Damage Protection Policy of $39 (non-refundable) to cover renter and owner for any possible damages, electric usage credit of $40 and a possible extra cleaning fee of $20. Any balance due is returned at check out. Longer stays may require a larger deposit amount for electricity. No more need to carry large amounts of cash or waiting for a refund!
CANCELLATION POLICY
If a reservation is canceled a refund is issued according to the guidelines outlined below:
1.Cancellation made more than 30 days to check-in date 100% is refunded.
2.Cancellation made less than 30 days to check-in date will forfeit all payment and Casa Pepem will forward any rescheduled income for lost dates.
3.Insurance policy refunded if canceled 48 hours prior to check in.
