Casa Pepem is internationally known for being in Merida's best location offering easy walks to the Main Zoclo, Santa Ana Park & Peseo de Montejo and Santa Lucia Park, along with all the other great history, culture and nightlife that has been making Merida a highly desirable place to visit and live. Many guests have recognized Casa Pepem as the 18th century home featured on House & Garden's television show International House Hunters or have just fallen in love with it's character, charm, and local 'casita' feel. The large Master bedroom and bath are detached from the main house offering privacy within a walled garden tended with native plants and towering avocado tree. A Portico leading to the main house provides a relaxing place to enjoy morning coffee and Yucatan breezes while viewing the garden area. Remote controlled air conditioning combined with ceiling fans in every room provide comfort for any climate while the kitchen, living room and dining rooms include the amenities needed to enjoy an adventurous or tranquil stay for a few days or weeks without the expensive costs of a hotel. A professional local property manager is there to greet you and handle daily needs as they arise so please feel free to contact us anytime with your questions or special requests. Parking is available on the street or with a local garages on the block.
Reservations & Payment
A 50% Reservation Deposit is required and refundable 30 days prior to check in date. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to check in. Reservations made within 30 days of stay require 100% payment. A security deposit with the local property manager for possible damage or incidentals is required and refundable at check out.
Payment can be made through PayPal using PAYMENT at CASAPEPEM dot COM. We offer a reduced 2% credit card surcharge for credit card payments added by PayPal to help guests. Often, the full 4% fee is passed directly to customers. US checks for deposit only require 30 days to clear.
Cancellations Policy
If we are able to schedule other guests for a canceled date after the full payment date we are happy to refund any money received. Otherwise, full payment is not recoverable.
