The condo is on the top floor and is two stories.
The main floor bedroom has a king size bed and a private bath. The second floor loft bedroom has a queen size bed. There is a bathroom that is shared by the two rooms on the second floor. There is ample room for the two twin beds, chairs, and television in the upstairs back room that has a sloped ceiling, which is 'technically' not a bedroom. There are bunk beds in the main floor hallway and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. This unit sleeps a total of 10 people.

The location is the best part. You feel like you are in a secluded area being only a few hundred feet from a mile long stretch of beach at Henderson Park, yet you are so close to a shopping experience in Destin Commons and several of the local restaurants that you could walk to them.
The Harbor is only a few miles down the road if you're inclined to take in a fishing trip or rent a watercraft for the day.

“Great condo, great location, quiet stretch of beach!” Loved the electronic keypad which enabled us to easily access the condo for an early check-in with just a phone call. Also allowed us to go in and out without worrying about the key. A minor repair during our stay was made quickly and efficiently without any interruption of our evening. “The perfect beachfront condo” This is the second year in a row we have stayed here. This condo fits all our needs and the location is the best. The beach isn't too crowded since it is right beside the state park and there aren't a lot of units in this complex, so it isn't hard to park and the pool isn't overcrowded. Customer service is/was very friendly and helpful and made me feel like they were happy I was on vacation and wanted us to have a good stay. The kitchen is stocked with all the needed items. I liked the being directly on the beach the most and the great beach service. The bed was comfortable and just a relaxing unit. I can't think of anything I disliked! This is a very nice condo. Plenty of room for everyone. The view was spectacular. We used the outdoor grill once. It was very nice to cook out and view the ocean. We had a great time. We even rented a pontoon and went to Crab Island and had numerous dolphins swimming right by the boat. Thanks ...will definitely rent from you again.Did you find this review helpful? I lived and worked in Destin for almost 13 years. I even owned a couple of places on the beach. I never imagined I would enjoy a property as much as this one. I wished I had owned this property when I lived in Destin years ago and I never would have sold it! The size of the unit was perfect and loved it being by the end unit. The view was great. It was nice being beside the state park which made our beach not so crowded. The beach service there was great and loved having my own space on the beach. The location was great and enjoyed the central location and jogged to the Crab Trap every morning. I am only going to rent this condo unit for future visits. #48 is my home away from home now! This was our first visit to the Destin area and had a wonderful time. Being from NC we are used to the gray, bland beaches. The white sand and emerald water was fantastic. Our children (17, 15, and 12 year old twins) had a great time as well. The unit was perfectly located and wonderfully functional. The unit had everything we needed. The location was perfect with no crowds and the staff was friendly. The early check in option was a great feature and the keyless lock was wonderfully convenient. It was awesome to wake up to an ocean view every morning, and watch the sunsets from our balconies. If you are lucky, as we were, you will see dolphins and their babies feeding at dusk, and the plankton in the water turned the white caps of the ocean flourescent green in the evenings for 3 nights (apparently a "rare" thing). The office staff was very helpful, and allowed us to check in for our flights from their computers. Just wish we could have stayed a week or two more!Did you find this review helpful? 09/23/2010 Amazing ocean views with sunrises we couldn't miss. Location is perfect at the end of a quiet street with the ocean just steps away from the building. Plenty of room to spread out with good amenities. It was an awesome girls getaway with all of us planning on returning next year already!!
