Two cabins on one property! Heritage Haus is a charming one room log cabin that sleeps 4 and Heritage Villa is a modern 2 bedroom upper level villa that sleeps 3, for a total of 7 guests at this extremely private, White Iron Lake property adjacent to the Bear Island River outlet!!
Great for 2 small families, 1 large family, 2 couples, etc!
Heritage Haus is a historical cabin restored using the original timbers; this one room cabin has double bed plus 2 additional twin-sized beds.
Heritage Villa is an upper level villa with 1 double bed in the master bedroom and 1 twin bed in the loft.
Both cabins are filled with Ely Area antique décor, have hardwood floors, and vaulted ceilings.
Both cabins have well-stocked kitchens with stove/oven, microwave, coffee brewer, refrigerator/freezer, small electrical appliances, fully-equipped with dinnerware and cookware. (Heritage Villa has a dishwasher!)
Other amenities include:
Charcoal grill at the Haus, Gas grill at the Villa.
Wood-burning fieldstone fireplace at the Haus, woodstove at the Villa.
Full bath with shower at the Haus, Full bath with tub and shower, as well as a half bath at the Villa.
Private dock.
Canoe and 14’ fishing boat included. Motor rental plus additional rentals available.
Well-behaved pets welcome (additional fee)
No smoking inside cabin.
Located between the Bear Island River and Kawishiwi inlets on White Iron Lake 10 miles from Ely.
White Iron Lake, 3429 acres in size is actually part of a chain including Farm, South Farm, and Garden Lakes which also has direct access to the BWCAW. This chain is a locals favorite with nice populations of walleye, northern pike, bass, crappie, and panfish. No motor restrictions.
