Our newly built 3+ bedroom vacation home has all the features you need to make your stay quiet and comfortable.
The first floor master bedroom features a king-size bed and walk-in tiled shower, and has a separate door to the all-weather porch to see early morning wildlife and beautiful evening sunsets.
Two guest rooms and a loft upstairs share a large Jack & Jill bath and give you plenty of comfortable, private sleeping space. Clean up is easy using the central vacuum, and there is a washer/dryer right on the first floor.
You will love preparing your meals with easy-to-use Thermador appliances, dishwasher, deep double stainless sink, granite countertops, and a center island with a wine rack! Just a few steps to the dining table with seating for up to 8 people.
Cooking and cleanup is a pleasure in this wonderful kitchen! After your meal, relax in the Great Room in front of the center fireplace, while the children play close by in the music/play area.
Enjoy the view and wildlife from the deck, or from the all-weather porch during the cooler season. The deck overlooks the pond, attracting birds, deer, wild turkeys and many other critters fun to watch!
The view continues over the rural landscape, gently rising to the fascinating shapes of the Granville hills and the Green Mountains of Vermont.
There are a large variety of activities for every season, all within a hour's drive. Move down this page, just under Rate Details, to "Links to More Information" and click on the link to our web page. Choose from the many ski areas nearby in Vermont and New York. There is great boating and several amusement parks in Lake George, along with many museums in this deeply historic region.
For the outdoorsman, try fly-fishing on the world famous Battenkill and Mettowee Rivers! The Adirondack Park is close by for hiking, canoeing, and kayaking. And don’t forget about horse-racing at the famous Saratoga Race Track! Keep us in mind for beautiful fall foliage and wonderful maple syrup, for which this area is renown!

Year Purchased: 2008
We are both scientists, have traveled extensively and lived abroad. We love exploration and adventure but always enjoy coming back to our home base for sharing, peace and quiet, and familiar comfort. We expecially enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, snow sports, bird watching, canoeing, and star gazing. All these interests attracted us to this area on the NY/VT line.

Spacious and comfortable bedrooms, bathrooms, and wonderful great room make this an ideal place to relax with family and friends. There is a fantastic view to enjoy, both rural and mountain landscapes. Wonderful ravine with cascading stream, and a pond to attract wildlife.
