The Yellowstone Vista Cabin is located 6 miles west of West Yellowstone, Montana and 9 miles north of Henry’s Lake in Island Park, Idaho.
West Yellowstone, Montana rests on the border of Yellowstone National Park and the Targhee & Gallatin National Forests, nestled in a valley of the Rocky Mountains. We are centrally located for vacationing in Yellowstone National Park, fishing the rivers and lakes, hiking the numerous trails, and photographing the wild flora and fauna.
Have you dreamed of getting away from it all, but still crave the luxuries of home? Then this place is for you. The Cabin is approximately 1400 square feet in size, and comes fully furnished. Enjoy the quiet while relaxing by the fire, watch TV, gaze out the windows at the scenic mountain views, enjoy a refreshing beverage at the bar, or throw your line in the creek out back.
The Cabin comfortably sleeps 7 people. The master bedroom has a large King size bed, 2 dressers, ample closet space, and a private bath with tub/shower. The 2nd bedroom has a twin & full size bed. A futon, couch & chairs are located in the great room, perfect for lounging while reading that great American novel. There is a desk, shelves of books and assorted games, additional closet space, and a newly remodeled guest bathroom with shower.
Our kitchen has all of the amenities of home. It comes fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, microwave, full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and of course a stove/oven for your convenience. There is a breakfast bar area with stools, and a formal dining area. If you like cooking in the great outdoors, a BBQ is located on the patio, but don’t forget to bring your briquettes.
We provide towels for the kitchen and bath, as well as linens for the beds, and a washer and dryer are located in the master bath.
Are you bringing your boat or ATV’s for exploring the lakes or mountain trails? There is no need to worry we have a parking area large enough to accommodate your trailers.

Excellent, quiet get away

The photos and description of this home don't do it justice. We were blown away when we walked in the door. It's much large than it appears in the photos. It's larger than my home in Seattle! It is very quiet in the middle of a beautiful field, secluded, with one home nearby and yet it's a short drive to West Yellowstone where you can buy groceries. My favorite parts: the master bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked. But what I most appreciate is how clean and organzied it is. I'm picky and this home exceeded my expectations. If I had any criticism, and this is extremely minor, the WiFi service is a bit touchy and sometimes difficult to get a connection but workable.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

On all our lodging arrangements to visit the National Parks, this was my favorite. Not only was it very clean and updated, it had special amenities such as books about the parks in the area, a paperback book exchange, a computer and printer you could use and real attention to detail throughout the home. The setting was beautiful with a view out the living room picture window of cattle grazing along the creek. By the way, the living room with an open ceiling was big and beautiful, fireplace and all. It's hard to find something to complain about, but here's one thought. To get to the master bedroom, you have to walk through the second bedroom; however, we didn't see that as a problem as the couple in the master bedroom could get to the kitchen and living room by going out a door to the outside from the master bedroom, a short walk on the patio, to the back door entering the living room, thus not disturbing those in the second bedroom. We were two couples and relatives, so this was not a problem. Thanks to the owner and property management for a wonderful stay.
