We enjoyed our time at the cabin. It is situated in a fairly isolated location. Sitting on the rocks watching and listening to the waves was wonderful. Campfires at night watching meteors and making s'mores was fun. We had a visit from a coyote one night. The cabin is close to Lutsen and Grand Marais for groceries and other shopping (World's Best Donut Shop in G.Marais) We spent time hiking in the nearby State Parks. The cabin, itself, is comfortable and spacious. The owner was helpful in all of our contacts with him. We would certainly stay there again if we are up on the North Shore in the future.

Wonderful time enjoying beautiful waves changing constantly from calm to mammoth, shooting stars, bonfires on the rocks right near the lake--can't get much better. The interior of the cabin was oh, so comfortable and cozy!

The cabin looks exactly like the pictures! The atmosphere is that of cozy cabin! It felt like this was our very own place, that has been in our family for years. Privacy was better than expected! My family and I had such a great time! We really hated leaving when it was time to go! You can't beat the location. The sights and sounds are beautiful, at all hours of the day. You could never run out of things to see and do. I feel anyone who spends time here will NOT be disapointed.

This property is accurately described as a cabin. While it doesn't have some of the amenities of a hotel, it is perfect for families who enjoy camping , the outdoors, and quiet relaxation. You can hear the sound of the waves when the doors or windows are open, and the shoreline is just a few steps away. There are several state parks nearby with great hiking and historical sights but our family's favorite activity was simply walking on the rocky shoreline at various times each day and appreciating the changes from sunrise to sunset. The week we were there we only saw one neighbor once or twice, so it's a perfect place to enjoy the beauty of Lake Superior in privacy. We would definitely like to make this a yearly destination.
