Experience the ambience and comfort of a fine hotel in this lovely beach home just steps from the classic San Clemente pier. The Spanish-style three story attached home is a beautiful example of San Clemente's rich heritage. A stroll through the neighborhood of stucco homes with red tile roofs is a pleasant reminder that pioneer founder Ole Hanson's dream of a "Spanish Village by the Sea" lives on today.
A four minute walk to the pier reveals a stunning view of the famous San Clemente white sand beach that invites sunning, sand-castle building, body surfing, and boogie boarding by day. By night, relax around a roaring fire at one of the many beach fire-pits after watching the sun set over the majestic Pacific Ocean as it drops behind Santa Catalina Island. Any hard core surfers in your group? Bring your boards, wet suits, and take on the challenge of the best surf California offers at the Pier, T Street Beach, or the renowned "Trestles".
Just a five-minute walk to Del Mar Street and you're amidst shopping options galore from swimwear to antiques, trendy boutiques and jewelry shops. There's an 'aha' moment for every shopper's pleasure. Shopping not on your agenda? Then pamper yourself with a treatment at one of the many spas and salons at your service. Excellent eating ranges from the five-star White Horses Restaurant across from the pier to local favorites such as Italian Cravings, Billy's Deli, The Beach Garden, Avila's Mexican Cantina and the Beach Fire Grill.
Casa on Cazador is an inviting location to hold a family reunion, a group get-together or a gathering of almost any kind. The spacious landscaped backyard and patio are a perfect setting for a reception or celebration. 'Relaxed charm' exudes from the tasteful eclectic interior decor where both adults and children will find places to retreat, rest and relax.
The main floor boasts bamboo flooring, an open living room with a grand piano and dining area that can seat up to 8. The inviting kitchen is a chef's dream with granite counters seating 6, new appliances including a gas stove, and no more than three steps to any preparation area. Exit the living room through the double French doors to the ocean view deck with table and chairs, wicker furniture conversation area and gas cooking grill. The family room/den includes an efficiency kitchen with sink, small refrigerator and appliances.
The spacious upstairs master suite includes a reading area and library in addition to the king size bed, while the master bath offers both a jetted tub and separate distinctive glass block shower. Double French glass doors open from the suite to a second level deck with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean where stretching out on a chaise lounge will bring total relaxation.
Everything needed for a perfect San Clemente day at the beach will be awaiting guests at the Casa on Cazador: beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, umbrellas, sun screen, woven mats and beach towels. When you return from the beach, rinse off the sand at the outside shower on the rear patio and then set up a wicket course on the luxuriant lawn for a rousing croquet match or play a game of bocce ball.

We feel very grateful to have spent a week in your home with our family. The house is very well furnished and we felt as though we were your personal guests. It was especially wonbderful to have the piano so my mother could play for us. What a beautiful gift! Stephen was so friendly and helpful. Thanks so much for a great first time beach house rental experience. Maggie, you were great to work with from day one and Stephen was so nice and helpful when we first arrived. We were so impressed with how well stocked the house was and how beautiful the accomodations. We didn't lack for anything. Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer. We didn't want to leave! Once again our family had a wonderful time at Casa on Cazador! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. From the welcome basket to all the little extras, you made us feel welcome and for a week we were able to call San Clemente "home". Can't say enough great things about this house. Would have to say it is one of the best vacation homes we have ever rented. Plenty of room for a family of 5 (including 3 boys), very fairly priced, quiet street (slept with windows open without any problems), close to beach and restaurants (walked to pier for July 4th fireworks), and close to interstate for sight-seeing trips to either San Diego or Los Angeles. Beach towels and chairs provided, incredibly well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms - can't think of anything we needed that wasn't already there! Great balconies, back yard, and driveway (no problems with parking). Would highly recommend Caza on Cazador and we hope to return for another vacation soon. Thanks Maggie and Bob for a great Holiday!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: We'd like to introduce ourselves to you! We're Bob and Maggie Stiles, property owners. Bob built this home in 2004 and we moved in at the beginning of June 2005. We selected this site to be near the ocean, the San Clemente Pier, the beach amenities and the charming town of San Clemente. We are semi retired and enjoy spending time in Palm Desert where we have another VRBO listing, and also the summer months at our home in Admiral's Cove near Coupeville in Washington state.

San Clemente is one of the five best Mediterranean climates in the world with the easy access to the beach, delightful ocean breezes, and charming small town environment with access to major entertainment venues within thirty to sixty minutes. The relaxed 'pier bowl' community where we live allows us to walk to restaurants, shops, stores and banks...a lovely way to live!

Relaxation is easy when sitting on one of the two front decks looking at the ocean and enjoying conversation with friends. Relaxation continues with a move to the private back patio where we enjoy viewing our lovely landscaped yard or playing croquet or bocce ball on the lush grass.
