One studio apartment for rent in the new exclusive area of Venice, the island of Giudecca.

This location has many wonderful features:
* it is very near to the main attractions (direct connection via public boat to St. Mark's Square (10 minutes), and to Accademia (10 minutes),
* it is not overly crowded with tourists' groups so you can still experience a true Venetian atmosphere,
* it is very easy to reach (direct connection via public boat from Railway station and car park).

The apartment is 10 meters from a very scenic canal and faces a shared private garden. Public boat stop is 2 minutes walking distance, so both railway station, airport, car park and St. Mark's Square are very easy to reach.

In 5 minutes walk there's an excellent supermarket (typical Venetian, Italian or international food) and other shops and restaurants at a reasonable price.

The studio-apartment has a bathroom with shower and a complete kitchen; sleeps 2 on beds and additional 2 on pull-out couch.

The apartment is fully equipped (linen, dishes, etc. ...) and with air conditioned.

Escort service is included and the friendly manager on site will help you with everything (taxi service, city information, heating, etc.) you may need.

  • I had a wonderful stay in the apartment on Giudecca. It was large, well-equipped and provided everything I needed -- far superior to a hotel. Before I went, I was a little worried about being on another island, but the vaporetti come every 10 minutes and so it was very easy to get to anywhere in Venice. And Giudecca is a wonderful escape from the hordes of tourists. Plus Caterina could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Highly recommended.

  • Caterina helped us navigate our way around Venice on our first trip to this lovely city and it was a delight to meet her and stay in her charming apartment. We loved the location on the Giudecca which was easily accessible to the Piazza San Marcos, The Biennale Gardens, and other sites in the Veneto. But what was most pleasing was staying in a place where you quickly felt like a part of the neighborhood, with local shops, cafe's, restaurants, and even some tourist attractions (Harry's American Bar was our neighbor!) all within walking distance. I have recommended this place to several friends for future trips to Venice and definitely plan to return. Ciao ciao!!

  • Even though this was my first trip to Venice and with the complication of lost luggage (whose return, our hostess graciously coordinated), this was a lovely accomodation and a wonderful location. I did worry at first about the fact that we were giving up the safety blanket of a concierge and other commonly expected amenities. But I found the exchange - a neighborhood of "normal" people and real peace and quiet - to be well worth it. Great shower, room to breathe, and a washer/dryer (if you can figure it out) - what's not to love????

  • I had a very nice stay in your apartment in Giudecca. This was my first visit to Italy and the accommodations made my trip that much more enjoyable. There was easy access to the vaporetto and the nearby view just in front of the apartment was spectacular. I would certainly request your studio apartment again on a return visit to Venice. Though I ate out a lot and enjoyed the convenience of several local restaurants, it was nice to occasionally to be able also to cook at home. I think the location is excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend your apartment to my friends and colleagues should they have a chance to come to Venice. Thank you for your help in making my first visit to Venice so comfortable and giving me a feeling of being “at home”.   • As we planned our first yourney to Venice, we wanted a "special" trip, of course. We did not want to live as ordinary tourists in a normal hotel or bed-and-breakfast-flat. So we were very happy to find a wonderful apartment on the island of Giudecca - and felt like local inhabitants. The island of Giudecca is a very quiet district of Venice. Guidecca has the right distance to the main islands and touristic areas of Venice - just some minutes with the Vaparetto across the Canale Giudecca and you reach the Piazza San Marco and all the other famous places - you can be visitor or stay at your home to watch and dream ... The flat has all you need - a living room with TV and a small kitchen to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner, a double bed with enough bedclothes, a big bathroom with towels and a washing machine. The flat is perfect for two persons and the price is reasonable. The landlady is very friendly and helpful and speaks English. There are enough restaurants at Giudecca - the famous Harry's Dolci for example - but also cheap trattorias, frequented by the local people. We liked our first trip very much and return to Venice almost every year - and we always live at Giudecca since the first time. Regards Matthias and Katja

  • It has been my good fortune to have been introduced to your family and the cozy studio apartment you rent in Giudecca, Venice. The transportation by the local “water bus” (vaporetto) makes a short ride to the San Marco and an even shorter hop over to Zattere and the Accademia bridge, or the train station all very easy. I love staying in Giudecca where you feel more a part of a community and where the pace is less frantic than across the water at San Marco or the Rialto yet getting anywhere in the city is relatively easy. The apartment has the advantage over most hotels both of location and the conveniences of a kitchen and washing machine, which proves particularly handy for longer stays. I am very pleased to have been able to stay on multiple visits to Venice and plan to continue to rent your studio when I come to Venice in the future.
