Less than 1 ½ hours from Chicago, but feels worlds away, Hillside Cottage is nestled in a tree covered dune. The front and rear decks with gas grill and comfortable patio furniture make outdoor living easy. Or, use the side yard to enjoy croquet, horseshoes, etc. Climb the back hill to peek at the lake through the trees. The cozy, spacious living/dining area is adjacent to a large, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. Upper level also features a fireplace suite with its own living, bedroom and bathroon. Another upper level bedroom has a private bath and two other bedrooms share a bath. The lower level has two bedrooms, a large bath with double sinks and tub/shower combo. This is also where you’ll find the laundry room and the fun room with pool table, chess, checkers, games, and books.
Tons of beach chairs, books, magazines, games, etc. are available to make your stay enjoyable. Hillside is less than 10 minutes to many great restaurants and within a 30 minute radius are oodles of fun options like outlet shopping, horseback riding, golf, zoo, marina and casino.

We chose Hillside Cottage as our vacation home due to its fabulous location, layout and proximity to both Chicago and Lake Michigan. You can hear the waves, see the stars, kick back and relax and just have a blast with family and friends. In a very brief ride we are away from the city and feel like we are totally on VACATION. It doesn't get any better than this.
