Very nice place for our family of 4. We enjoyed the quiet and the access to Lake Michigan. It was about a block and a half walk to the private beach however this beach is quite narrow so we usually drove to a public beach. Has all the amenities and more than we would ask for. The deer who hung out in the yard and came right up close to the house were a treat too! We would definitely rent this again.

The cabin was great, we particularly enjoyed sitting on the deck and grilling. Very close to the lake and the State Park is not far away either.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

Easy to work with the owner. Clean and cozy cabin. The cabin was well stocked for a rental and there was plenty of fire wood for the cool evenings. Close to the beach and to a park so always something to do out doors. Only a few miles from Milwaukee for a day trip into a larger city. Over all, we enjoyed it very much and would stay there again if we ever are in the Sheboygan area.

We wanted to just get away to a nice place to relax and this was it. House was big and equipped even with all spices to cook so all we needed was food, I mean equipped ! The fireplace has split, dried, covered wood, kindling and starter. A fire was a no brainer. Grill had gas and tools, the area was very nice and so quiet even from indiana where I have a nice house that I wondered where were the people ! So driving and walking a dog was peace. Driving winding roads with Birch and Pines was real enjoyable. This was great. Lake is nearby , not a far walk down a quiet street so it was relaxing. Again the clean house , fully loaded so I had to do nothing but cook and relax, that helped me alot. I expected nothing but everything was there even internet access, and cable , which I didnt watch!. Im new to this house renting but a hotel would have been much much less at nearly the same price and here you have 3 bedrooms and a basement with laundry facilities. So yes I liked the house, [ its a house] the area, and all of it, yes I would definatly go back. I cant say the coolness kept people away but it was 60 on June 12 and people were all real quiet, except for some big loud Owls I enjoyed, and deer were on the lawn in the am. Its even a nice area to live, if you want quiet-beauty.

The home is beautiful, very inviting and comfortable. The surrounding area is enchanting and overflowing with wildlife. While on vacation, we were so busy, we couldn't wait to get back to the house each night and relax. The price of this rental is a steal and the owners of the property are honorable. We will be vacationing to Wisconsin again someday and we will absolutely reserve the LOG CABIN BY THE LAKE.
