We chose Fort Myers Beach because it is nice and warm all year long. Also, we have everything we need here at the beach. Shelling, fishing, a nice beach to walk on, great sunsets, key lime pie, and marguarita's and Publix with the best food and deli around. Don and I came to the beach in 2001 and have fallen in love with everything about it. We are now at retirement age and look forward to leaving Minnesota, where we have lived all of our life. We didn't discover paradise earlier in life so we raised our family here in the Midwest. We enjoy sharing our little piece of heaven with all our guests and hearing how much they enjoy it also. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Don and Karen's Condo. It was conveniently located to shopping and restaurants and of course the beach. The weather was gorgeous and we understand that it was exceptionally warm for January.....and watching the sunsets every evening from the balcony was great. Look forward to another trip in the future.

The view was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable.Upon our arrival we found that the comforter looked old and very used, it was not the same one in the pictures posted. All but 1 towel was still wet, old and really stained. They should of been thrown out or used for rags. We had to wash and dry all the towels. I was grossed out by the shower curtain because it was orange on the inside from not being cleaned, or replaced. Both spare blankets in the closet were full of sand, we found out after we went to use them the first night after the sand ended all over the bed and on the floor. Vent in bathroom was filthy and black stuff was coming out of the air conditioner. I e-mailed the owners with these problems and they offered to come over the next day to address the issues. Don showed up the next day and cleaned the b/r vent and air conditioner, brought another comforter, the one in the picture in their post. They told me where to find a new shower curtain which we changed. Don told us that they don't check the blackets or extra sheets in the closet when they clean. As for the towels we washed them and used only a couple of the towels that were okay. I feel that they need to take more time cleaning the unit, check blankets and sheets in closet, replace old and stained towel for they do get wore out, plus who wants to use a stained towel, not me. Don was very nice and very apolgetic. I will never stay there again, because of the way we found the unit when we first arrived.

Excellent! Phenominal view of the ocean. Clean and comfortable accomodations. Quiet end of Estero Beach. Probably the most relaxing last minute vacation we have ever had. Everyone in the condo buildings were exceptionally friendly and Don and Karen were wonderful to work with. We actually had the opportunity to meet both of them as we were checking out! Thanks for the great time. We will return! We started out without a car (and you could make that work with the trolley that runs up and down the street), but found that with a car we were able to make some day trips to Marco (Tiger Tail Beach-eat at Snook's--it's great), and then to Sanibel Island. About 40 minutes south of Estero, Naples has TONS of eating and shopping-so the car was nice at that point. Highly recommend this quiet, tranquil and beautiful condo! Matt and Marie from Michigan. The condo was just as the description. The views from the balcony are fabulous, great sunsets!! You can see both sides, the ocean and the bay! The residents that live a the complex are wonderful and friendly. We had a great time walking the beach and the shops across the street! Its convenient, the trolly picks you up next door and takes you up and down Estero, to restaurants, clubs and shopping!! Plenty to do and to see! The condo was clean and well equipped, we were comfortable and we will be back!!

December 12, 2011 Hi Karen, I hope all is well. Dan and I really enjoyed ourselves at Ft. Myers Beach, your condo was excellent!!! The views from the balcony were awesome, and it’s very convenient and close to a lot of shopping. The people who live at Estero Beach & Tennis Club were wonderful and very friendly, and very helpful to us new comers! I cant say enough good things because nothing went wrong, we had a great time and will be back!! We cant thank you enough!!!

My brother and I have have been staying here for a few years now in a row. Love it, close to much. We don't touch the car much once we've arrived. You can walk to great restaurants (some on the beach, even), and stores, and even the marina across the street for leisurely boat rides or fishing charters. The unit itself is very clean, awesome view of the gulf, beach, and dolphins from the balcony! Perfect place for the beautiful Florida weather.
