This home is great for families and a perfect location! The home was nice, clean and cool! Everything you need is there, but we had a few things that didn't work. The Grill: We brought things to grill for our whole trip and unfortunately the grill didn't work(only a tiny portion of it). We had to run into town to purchase a small bbq grill and accessories. The view is gorgeous, just keep in mind the walk down to the water is very rough and there is not a "beach" access of any kind. However, we did take a canopy and set up on a big flat rock and went swimming and used our Jetski. Our legs were killing us after the trip from all the walking! The volleyball court should not even be mentioned in the description as it is unrecognizable. We had a visitor from a nice white cat every morning and saw a lot of wildlife too. Of course deer all over the neighborhood, woodpeckers, hummingbird, walking stick, a small scorpion. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and the kids loved it. The waterfalls didnt' really work, but once it came on it was awesome. It only lasted about an hour and then would shut off. The lights didn't work at night and that would have been really nice too. There is a level beneath the pool with a firepit. We made smores and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We did have a mishap after we left and received an email that we cracked a sprinkler head at the right side of the driveway. This was unknown to us, but we did pay for it since the "neighbor" said we drove on the grass. So, just be careful when backing out. I would love to stay here again since it has the pool and beautiful scenery, but..... not sure. This is my first review after 5 VRBO homes, and just wanted to share our adventure with everyone.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

My family of 6 recently stay at this beautiful home. The home is on a beautiful piece of property on Canyon Lake, Texas. The outside deck area has comfortable, covered seating where the breeze can easily circulate. The pool and spa are beautiful and there is a bathroom near the pool along with a sound system. The property is well landscaped and the location to San Antonio, New Braunfels, and Gruene was perfect. We noticed that the pool filter was not working nor the hottub. A call to the owner had it working in short time. The listing photos are accurate. I decided that I could easily live here or at least enjoy a weeks vacation at this location. We tubed the Comal River in New Braunfels, went to the outlets stores in San Marcos, and the Schlitterbahn Water Park which my grandchild loved. We had a meal in San Antonio which was a short, easy drive. All in all, this place gets a 10 in my book.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We just returned from our 2nd vacation at this lovely home. Our favorite part is the pool and hot tub, followed closely by the great amount of space, plenty of spots to hang out in, and the large lake front, perfect for boys to skip rocks on. Highly recommend. We tubed the Guadalupe, ate out at a wonderful Italian restraunt, spend hours floating in the pool, played board games, slept late. Very quiet, and very clean and well-maintained. It was perfect for us and our 3 grandsons!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

This house is amazing!! We just returned from a week long stay. The view from the deck was outstanding. We loved the pool & hot tub. The house was very family/kid friendly. There are so many neat places to sit & relax, we could never decide where to hang out. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this house and I agree with the other review...these pictures simply don't do justice for how awesome this house & property really are. We will be back here again. The owners were so easy to work with as well.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

This house is amazing and the pictures do no justice! The view of the lake is breathtaking. We rented this house for an extended weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. The amenities are convenient. The house has lake access and a covered picnic area with a BBQ pit right by the water but we never even got in the lake because of the fantastic pool area. There is also a sound system for the outdoor area. Our only complaints are there is only 1 tub and it would be nice to allow pets. We understand the rule on pets but we would have been willing to pay any deposit to be able to bring our dogs. For the price it was well worth it!! The owner and contacts for the rental company were very polite and helpful. You will not be disappointed with this house!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
