Enjoy spectacular views of the Blue Pacific from this 35th floor unit. Our unit has ocean views (from living room, bedroom and balcony) of both the Golf Coast and Canoe and Queen’s surf breaks over St. Augustine Chapel. We also have a partial view of Diamond Head and a large, green park adjacent to the Honolulu Zoo. The unit faces west and has direct, frontal panoramic ocean views. It does not get the morning sun waking you up. Each exquisite view is a work of glorious art!
Our condo is large, comfortable, spotless and private. We provide free WI-FI internet access, a DVD, VHS, CD player. The bedroom has a queen sized bed and is separated from living room by sliding doors. The living room has a queen sized pull out sofa bed. Portable fouton bed stored in closet. Breakfast on USABLE LANAI (balcony). Full kitchen including pots, pans, cutlery. All linens/towels, beach towels, two beach chairs provided. Coin laundry on every floor. Phone with free local calls. Alarm clock/radio. Cable TV. ONE FREE SECURED COVERED PARKING SPACE in the Waikiki Banyan parking structure. No pets or smoking please.
Our Waikiki Banyan condo is owner occupied part of the year, and we welcome vacationers who will take good care of it. We painted the walls with decorator colors and had an interior designer redo floors, cabinets, and wall décor in a “Hawaiiana” island motif.
The Waikiki Banyan is a fun resort ONE BLOCK from the warm sands and blue water of the world's most famous beach. Soak up the sun, stroll on ocean board walk, swim in warm ocean, snorkel across from the Zoo in fish preserve (some of the best snorkeling in Hawaii), surf, or just relax on the Waikiki Banyan's comfortable lounge chairs on recreation deck near pool or in shade. Two blocks from shallow swimming area in ocean protected by sea wall.
The huge recreation deck on the sixth floor of the Waikiki Banyan offers a large pool, jet spa, sauna, gas barbecues, children's playground and take out/snack bar. At the Waikiki Banyan you can meet vacationers from around the world.
The Waikiki Banyan is unique in that it offers large units with kitchens in upscale Waikiki in a resort environment at affordable prices. No other condo offers such a large amenity package at such reasonable rates in such a desirable location, one block from the beach, churches (St. Augustine's and nondenominational Christian church in community center just east of Banyan on Sunday mornings), bus line, restaurants, and two blocks to a gorgeous park and zoo.
Making it exceptional, our unit has one of the best ocean views at the Waikiki Banyan (on the west side of Tower II), for which hotels would charge a small fortune per night. What's a vacation in Hawaii without panoramic ocean views, watching surfers from your living room, and spectacular sunsets!
Restaurants galore in the immediate neighborhood of Waikiki Banyan, from fast food, sushi, all you can eat, family restaurants such as P.F. Chang's or Cheese Cake Factory, to exotic international and island cuisine, to top gourmet restaurants such as Roy's or Mavro's.

Take Reliable or Robert's shuttle from airport to Waikiki Banyan ($18 round trip). Mini mart & snack bar in building. Walk to food pantry supermarket at 2370 Kuhio Avenue. Walk to Parkshore Starbucks across from beach. Longer walk to new Safeway at 888 Kapahulu Avenue.

Just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that we really enjoyed our 10 days in your condo on the 35th floor at the Waikiki Banyan. It was clean, very well equipped and in an excellent location. We spent many mornings and evenings out on the spacious lanai having our breakfast or dinner. The views are beautiful! The condo had absolutely everything we needed, including beach chairs and towels. It's a short walk to the beach, shopping, bus and the zoo. We had a wonderful time and would definitely rent your condo again!

I have an MBA from UCLA in international finance and for three years was employed by Credit Suisse, Los Angeles. Subsequently, I was employed by Twentieth Century Fox Film Studios as Assistant to the Controller. I've been in all facets of the real estate business thirty years. I've been married 25 years, and have two college age sons. My wife is from Calgary, Canada, and is a registered nurse. She also has a Master's in Health Education from Loma Linda University. I particularly enjoy snorkeling and swimming, which I do daily. I don't like driving when on vacation, so the Waikiki Banyan, being one block from the beach, and two blocks from great snorkeling with restaurants and shopping everywhere is ideal.
Why the Owner Chose Waikiki Banyan
I bought this unit for the view. In 1962, as a ten year old, I stayed at the Princess Kaluani Hotel on the 12th floor (I believe) and was astounded at the incredible ocean view from the hotel room. Nearly half a century later, we bought this unit because of its incredible 35th floor ocean views of both the Gold Coast and the surf breaks over St. Augustine's Chapel. My wife is from Calgary, Canada. We've lived in Colorado and central California on the coast. We like the fact that the unit faces west, so there is no morning sun waking us up.
We bought this unit at the Waikiki Banyan because it is only one block to the beach and two blocks to a huge park in southern Waikiki. We enjoy snorkeling and there is a large fish preserve across the street from the park with a beautiful reef and all types of tropical fish. The Banyan is a resort property with incredible amenities.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
I just returned from staying in our condo last week. Every morning I took a 35 minute walk to the Lighthouse at the point on Diamond Head. The walk is along the ocean boardwalk, the Gold Coast, a quaint residential neighborhood, and up Diamond Head, bordering a scenic road. The view is spectacular. You can see great beaches with surfers below you. There are pathways down to the beautiful beaches. Every afternoon I went snorkeling either in the fish preserve by the zoo and the park or on the reef to the north of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. It is an incredible, relaxing experience. The great advantage of the Waikiki Banyan is that it is two blocks from a huge undeveloped lush green park area.
