Location: Secret Garden is right next to a year-round creek in the magical redwoods of Cazadero, with legal access to Austin Creek just across the road. Historic Duncans Mills' shopping, dining, and kayak rentals is five minutes away. The Pacific Coast beaches are ten minutes west.
House: Secret Garden is a tastefully decorated creek-side home with hardwood floors and views of redwood forest. The stylish living room has cathedral ceiling with skylight, wood-stove (wood and firestarters included) with slate surround, comfortable seating and a Karaoke system. The remodeled kitchen is open to the dining area. This home sleeps four in two charming bedrooms. On the ground level, there's a smaller bedroom with double bed and a 19" LCD TV with DVD, and a half bath. Upstairs, the large master bedroom has a king bed, a 32" LCD TV with DVD and digital cable, and beautiful views of forest and creek. There's a full bathroom with a dual-head shower. Above the dining area, there's a loft reached by ladder as well as by an exterior staircase. The loft has a single futon, a 32" cable TV, and a large desk with view of woods. This home has wireless high-speed Internet access.
Grounds: Located well off the road, Secret Garden offers a quiet and peaceful outdoor experience on 2.5 acres, amongst stunningly beautiful redwoods and ferns. The babbling year-round creek with waterfalls runs close to the house. This home has extensive decks with a gas grill, patio dining and a therapeutic hot tub. There are hillside trails, with one leading to two hammocks under the trees.
