The Ritz of Maggie Valley
'The Ritz' is a tastefully decorated, smoke-free, home away from home located in the mountains of the Maggie Valley Country Club, 35 miles west of Asheville. For those not accustomed to mountain roads, you will enjoy easy year round access via wide paved roads.
Even though this house is only a few years old, it has very recently undergone some fantastic renovations. Our home now offers 2 separate master bedrooms for the comfort and privacy of multiple couples.
This spring and summer you can relax and take pleasure in rocking on the oversized covered deck sipping a cool drink while watching the birds, squirrels and other wildlife. You will enjoy fabulous mountain views from the hot tub, living room, and either of the master bedrooms. You will be able to unwind after a day on the golf course (which is literally a stones throw from the front door), sightseeing, or shopping. You are just minutes from many of Maggie Valley's great attractions.
The first master suite includes a very comfortable queen-size bed, french doors leading to a private deck entrance to the four person Jacuzzi tub. The second master bedroom also offers a very comfortable queen-size bed, while providing more privacy from the rest of the house for the second visiting couple. The kitchen is fully equipped to make and serve a gourmet meal or you can visit one of the fabulous local restaurants. We promise that you'll relax and enjoy yourself so much you won't want to leave.
You will be located only minutes away from many popular attractions such as the Biltmore House and Gardens, Cherokee Indian Reservation and Harrah’s Casino, Blue Ridge Parkway, numerous championship golf courses, horseback riding, exciting whitewater rafting, snowskiing on Cataloochee Mountain, Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Railroad, gem mining, as well as delightful craft and antique shopping and dining in Asheville, Maggie Valley, Waynesville, and Dillsboro. When you come to the Smoky Mountains your stay will be complete as The Ritz is close enough to the sights to be convenient, yet secluded enough to offer a peaceful stay. We stayed for one week in this rental and could not have asked for more ! This is the cleanest place we have rented in over 20 years of staying in Maggie Valley and this will be our new rental each year ! The owners could have not been any nicer and they were quick with the deposit return. We plan on renting at least two weeks a year from now on !Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

Phenomenal! What a place! My husband and I went away on a Dream Vacation and fell in love with your Cabin and Maggie Valley. We have stayed in a lot of wonderful homes advertised on VRBO, but this beautiful cabin leaves the others wanting. We loved the beautiful layout with 2 master bedrooms, the high ceilings, the wonderful upscale furniture, all just as you described. We were truly "away from it all" and were able to really enjoy one another. My husband and I rocked for hours on the porch enjoying the surrounding views and Mother Nature. It was very tranquil to sit in the hot tub on the deck outside at night and look at the thousands of stars in the sky. We look forward to our next stay at your cabin very soon. I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the fall with all the color changes.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

This home was a perfect place for peaceful vacation in the mountains. It was as described. The view from the porch was terrific. It was ever changing with every hour of the day. The colors of the fall leaves on the mountains were bright and beautiful. It was so pleasant, we decided to extend our stay for a full week. The home was very clean and welcoming. It made you feel like you were at home. I had the option of preparing my meals or going into town. I did venture out to Waynesville for the Annual Apple Festival. Main street had plenty of small shops, art galleries and cafes. This was by far the best vacation in a long time. I would highly recommend this place to family and friends. I will be back. Hopefully in the near future.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We had such a wonderful stay in your beautiful home. Your home was so warm and welcoming to us. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in your hot tub and taking in the breathtaking views. Your home was very clean and tastefully decorated, which was such a nice change from most of the other homes we have rented in Maggie Valley. Now that the holidays are behind us, we are looking forward to our 2012 vacation schedule and we will definitely be renting your home again this year.Did you find this review helpful? Mountain house was just as described. We used it as a base for visiting the Biltmore and exploring the Smokey mountains. The hot tub was thoroughly enjoyed after our day exploring the national park. Everything is close by and convenient. My husband has been to Maggie Valley before on a golf weekend. The Ritz would be an ideal location for such a trip as the course is a very short walk from the house. We found the nearby ski area. We can definitely see us coming back to ski and staying at the Ritz of course.Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We've now stayed in the Maggie Valley/Waynesville area 6 times in the last 24 months ... we love the superb golf and the relaxing mountain area. We've also had the opportunity to rent some nice hotel rooms and some very nice homes --- and this "NOT" one of them. First off, there is really no view (as was told to us) ... the two mountain pictures that are used, were taken from some place else (you can tell from the elevation change) .. and the golf course picture, was shot from the county road about 1,000 yards "below" the house. The real view: is the tall trees 50ft from the house, the cable poles and the neighbors 25 year old Jeep Comanche pick-up truck that he proudly displays in your view. The front steps are very steep with 3 flights and the lights were burned out on every level - and it gets dark in the mountains .... when told, the owner had no reaction. When we tried the hot tub, the owner again didn't get back with us because he didn't know what keys worked until 3 hours later. The positives: -- it was clean. The negatives: -- no view, cheaply built, very small, no back area to cook, no safety lighting -- plus we had to remind the owner twice and waited over a month for our deposit. The bottom line: there is MANY really nice rentals in the Maggie Valley area, so do your due diligence, take your time and shop around ... CRay.Did you find this review helpful? Everything in the pictures and description is correct. I appreciate a good hot tub and was not disappointed with this one. I had to call Rob with a question upon arrival and he not only answered the phone but answered my question. It is nice dealing directly with the owners! Great service. Also, we do ride Harleys and we had no problem with the access roads or driveway. We have stayed at some other places that were listed as "biker friendly", and really weren't, but this was no problem at all. Would definitely stay here again.Did you find this review helpful?
