The perfect lover's getaway!
This early 1900's cottage has been turned into a romantic retreat suitable for you and your loved one. We supply a bottle of wine and chocolate and a sexy, inviting atmosphere. You provide the company.

Enjoy the king size bed, privacy and self contained suite. Listen to the seals bark, the waves crash and a myriad birds.

Deer walk through your front yard along with the raccoons and the periodic bobcat and skunk family (very cute).

Sit on the large deck and sunbathe or walk night or day to the ocean and hunt for wildlife in the tide pools where you can sit and watch the humpback whales and dolphins (seasonal). Bring your comfy shoes - it is uphill on the way back but it's worth it! Take time to visit with the ever wandering deers, horses and the cow (I don't know why there is only one!)

If you must work we have hi speed internet and telephone.

The satellite TV offers nearly all the premium channels and we stock the cottage with everything you'll need.....just bring the mood!

One note for our tall guests. This cottage was built around 1907 and some tall guests (over 6'1) may have to duck through doorways. For the comfort of all our guests there is no smoking in or around the unit.

  • Just to elaborate on the comments I emailed to Andre and he posted below... This is a very unique cottage with lots of charm. It's situated in a residential neighborhood, something we really appreciated as it was very quiet and private. A short walk to Fiscalini Ranch Reserve was worth it for beautiful hiking and ocean access. We even saw a sea otter frolicking in the ocean in addition to the deer others have mentioned. Though the original cottage may be a century old, it has been updated well and was a nice place to stay. I have given the property info to friends who may visit the Cambria area.

  • We are excited to be able to celebrate our 10th anniversary in the same town we had our honeymoon. Although the dates we wanted was booked, every other place paled in comparison to what we were looking for. So we changed our dates. Our hearts were set on this beautiful cottage. Or should I say mine was. How could anyone not want to stay here after seeing the photos? I’m sure we will have plenty to say once our total experience has been completed. But I wanted to make sure while it was fresh in my mind, that I mention the booking process. This is our first rental experience and I was feeling a little apprehensive about it. But to my surprise so far it’s been extremely pleasant. The owner’s of the property have been very accommodating to the best of their ability. I can already tell this is going to be a yearly activity for my husband and I. Thank you in advance.

  • My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing and romantic weekend at this adorable cabin. It is very tastefully decorated and the Sirius radio was a nice bonus, as was the chocolate and bottle of wine waiting for us upon our arrival! It was a fun, beautiful walk down to the ocean for some great beachcombing. As promised, we saw deer and other wild life everywhere. It is also a very short drive to downtown Cambria. Can't wait to return!
