Teluride Dream House!

Telluride is such a magical place, and this home makes it even more so! The house is like a gorgeous, exremely well appointed five+-star hotel, with beautiful mountain views, over-the-top service and attention from Michael the caretaker, yet rustic/mountain-enough to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. The beds and linens are beautiful and extremely comfortable, the living areas are spacious for having all of your guests sit at one table for a big dinner, gather around the extra-large TV in the family room, enjoy an evening in front of the beautiful stone fireplace, comfortably sit in the kitchen for breakfast and watch the snow fall on the moutain, or go off into your own corner of the house and read a book. We have stayed at many places across Europe and the US, and this is by far the best rental we've ever found. The place is so beautiful, though, that leaving it for a full day on the mountain seems to be a bit of a waste. It is the perfect vacation home and we hope to go back many many times!
Owner response:Thanks so much for your wonderful review. We do hope you will return in the near future.

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay with frineds and family in this stunning home. Amazing views of the mountains and steps to the golf course. Every ammenity was accounted for and Michael (the caretaker) was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We visit Telluride every summer and some winters, Lodge on the Green is now at the top of our list. Thank you!

We have had the opportunity to stay at the Lodge on the Green many times over these past few years. Our vacations have occurred both in the winter and the summer. It is by far the nicest place we have ever seen, let alone stayed in. Each room is exquisitely decorated, yet extremely comfortable. The views of the rugged mountains and the golf course are breathtaking. You have the luxuries of both “ski in and ski out” access and the golf course directly in your backyard! We would highly recommend the Lodge on the Green in Telluride for the perfect “family and friends” vacation.
Owner response:Thanks so much for sharing your experiences in years past so those interested know LOTG is all we offer.

How very fortunate we have been to spend our Thanksgivings in Telluride at one of the most well appointed, convenient accommodations for a good-sized family or group. We have skied all over this country Canada and Europe and rate the Lodge on the Green the best.It is very comfortable, and decorated with impeccable taste. No glitz, just quality at every turn. You could not ask for a more convenient location. Ski a short distance to a choice of two ski lifts in the winter, and next to a beautiful golf course for summer enjoyment. And the views from the home are spectacular rivaling those in the Alps. We're sure that any family or group that elects to stay in this marvelous home will have the experience of a lifetime. It's got everything
Owner response:Fun to have family share LOTG with us at the holidays! Thanks for your kind words.

We rented The Lodge on the Green for our spring break ski week and had a blast! We ended up having some extra people (7 adults and 8 kids!) and there was more than enough room for everyone. Our favorite parts were the kitchen, family room (with a fantastic, huge fireplace) and the patios and BBQ in the back of the house. The media/sound system was great too, with lots of movies and music that you can play throughout the house. Michael (the caretaker) is an absolute gem and was so helpful. Having him there added to our great experience, and he even took our kids out skiing!!! The location of the house on Galloping Goose run is great, just a short jaunt to lifts 10 or 1. I would definetely stay at the house again and would recommend it highly to others considering it! Thanks! Monica and Blake Austin, Texas
