  • GONDOLA: The gondola between Telluride and Mountain Village is unique; it is the only transportation system of its kind in North America and it is free to all passengers. The gondola operates year-round (except for short closures during off-season) and is open seven days a week from 7 am to midnight. The gondola takes approximately 15 minutes from Telluride to Mountain Village core or vice versa and is a preferred way of transportation for both locals and visitors, whether you are just going for a scenic ride or accessing the ski slopes. DIAL-A-RIDE: Town of Mountain Village also offers a free transportation system; Dial-A-Ride, throughout Mountain Village. For pick-ups, use your cell or house phone, the courtesy phones located at the Mountain Village gondola stations or just ask a Mountain Village Guest Service Host to call a ride for you via radio. All the Dial-A-Ride vehicles are new Yukons or Toyota Hybrids and easily identified by their Mountain Village logo.

  • The house was spectacular. Maybe the nicest place I've ever stayed in. Great views. Nice hot tub. Fabulous kitchen and a great fireplace in the living room (and bedroom for that matter). We were on a bicycle trip and were there a short time. We all wished it was longer! Michael (the caretaker)was very nice although to be honest we didn't need his help with anything since everything was perfect. We will be back.

  • This was a great house to stay, I would definitely recommend it without hesitation. It was better that the pictures, convenient, and comfortable for a large group. The caretaker, Michael, went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and also was kind enough to show us trails and give advice. We were there for the Bluegrass Festival; the shuttle service and free gondola was a huge plus!
