    The owner was so sweet!!! We absolutely loved this house...perfect place for a family trip/birthday weekend! The bedrooms were beautiful! Plenty of room so that everyone could have their "space" and also come together as a group. We enjoyed the fire pit, since the evening was cool...and great BBQ pit to grill steaks! Enjoyed being able to take our German Shorthairs! They too enjoyed their weekend getaway!!! Fabulous kitchen, washer and dryer were nice to have as well. I can't say enough positive things!!!! We want to go back soon!!!!!!

    We rent a beach house every year in Port A, this is the second year we have returned to this house and we just LOVE IT! It fits all of us, and everyone enjoys the stay. This is a great house! Dealing with the owner Melanie and the caretaker Cheri is faboulous. Thanks for helping us with crating wounderful family memories.

    This is a great place to stay if your going to Port A. The owner Melanie is just great to work with and goes out of her way to make your stay perfect. The house was clean, cool, comfortable, had lots of room and is within easy walking distance of several restaurants and clubs. We had a great time here.

    We had a wonderful time in Port Aransas, TX this weeked. Group of 8 guys came into town on our annual guys golfing trip. The location is execellent! Live music and great restaraunts are only a step away. The house is very nice and clean. Highly recommend if you want to be close in town.

    Just came back from staying at this house for Easter weekend. Let me say it was the first time i reserved a house online with only pictures and reviews to go off of. The house looks exactly as the pictures do, the house was very clean and properly equipped with all you could need during your stay. the washer and dryer were very convenient, it was close by many restaurants and souvenir shops. But rather a drive to the beach than a short walk. The owner was always very helpful and always returned my calls and answered all questions I had. A very nice lady who owns a wonderful home that felt welcoming and comfortable for all ages. Our party included children,teenagers, couples in their mid 20's and parents in their 50's. The house is fairly large and spacious to were everyone has their individual space. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone. Its a beautiful home and I believe anyone who stays here will absolutely go back. Thank you Melanie for allowing us in your home and for making it a wonderful place to have family getaways.

    My friends and I were fortunate to spend a few days golfing and fishing in Port A in early March 2012 and we truly enjoyed this home! The photos do not do it justice. The home was beautifully furnished and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with very nice dinnerware and there were more than enough beds for all 8 of us. The property manager was very easy to work with and she was very quick in responding to all my questions. I highly recommend this place and we hope to visit again soon.

    We had such a great time. This house is really terrific for groups. The game room had plenty of space, and a mini-fridge. Perfect for hanging out. The bedrooms had really comfortable beds and plenty of fluffy pillows. As a person with "pillow issues", I was glad the owners took care to put good pillows on the beds. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our meals. I highly recommend this rental. Thanks for a wonderful time.

    My wife and I spent a well deserved week here in January. I did not know what to expect as this was a last minute decision to use vacation time. We could not have been more pleased. Not only was the description of the property accurate we were pleasantly surprised by the privacy this house provided. We brought our dog Madeline and the backyard was amazing even in winter. Every shop, bar and restaurant we frequented while in Port A was easily within walking distance from this property. The owner Melanie was extremely helpful and always available for questions. This was very much appreciated. The house was very comfortable and modern. We loved every minute and recommend this property wholeheartedly!!!

    My family really enjoyed or visit over the Christmas holidays - especially the pretty Christmas decorations. The property was cozy and comfortable and the perfect place to host our family's Christmas dinner.

    This was a great place to stay especially if you have older kids (10 and older) because of the bunk room. We enjoyed our stay very much, I just wish the description would of let us know that the bunk room was detached from the rest of the house. You had to go out a small sun room (which at night you would want to lock) and down some stairs to get to the bunk room, this is why I say it is great for older kids and teenagers. It is still very safe, because you can lock the bunk room at night so no one can get in. Don't get me wrong we LOVED the house!! And the owners are awesome to work with, they even let us bring our wonderful dog. YEA!! We would love to use this place again, especially when our kids get older!

    The house was perfect in many ways. All the gentleman on the retreat loved the time spent there & appreciated your attention to detail as well as the tour of home. They found the home to be spacious, clean & noted that the fire pit was a great outdoor place for gathering.

    My group of 12 men meet in Port Aransas every year for fishing, golf and the beach and we just finished our third year renting here. We have found it to be perfect for our needs. There are three separate but attached units available and this last time we rented all three units. The kitchen, dining and living areas in the main house is plenty big for gathering for meals and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking and dining. The furnishings are top notch and the television is a flat screen with cable. The game room in the lower unit has a pool table and ping pong table. There is an outdoor fire pit and BBQ grill as well. It is located in a quiet neighborhood not a far drive to the grocery store and in walking distance to the charter fishing docks. I could imagine these units being rented for a family reunion as well. The lower unit has a bunk bed room that could sleep at least four kids and a pullout sofa could sleep two more. All in all, you will find this property to be clean, comfortable and accommodating and the owners care that you have a good stay.

    We had at great time at this house (we had both properties) and our group consisted of 6 couples and several children, there was plenty of room for all. The kids can't wait to go back. We also had a wedding (Bride and Groom included) to get ready for during our stay and while everyone was getting dressed I did not hear any complaints about not having enough bathrooms (5 all together). The kids really enjoyed the game room and back yard and it kept them busy so we could all enjoy our time. I usually don't write reviews, but a friend was asking me about the property and as I was getting the information for her, I couldn't resist thinking about the wonderful time we had. The photos are like walking in each room and Melanie was so friendly and easy to work with, we will certainly stay again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

    Thank you so much! Our family had a wonderful time. This is by far the best home we've stayed in at Port Aransas. So comfy & cozy, decorated beautifully! Everyone loved the game room, it was a big hit. Us parents stayed upstairs & the kids downstairs, it was like having 2 seperate places all in one. I will definitely recommend your place to everyone. We've already reserved our spot for February. Thanks!
