This 2500 sq. ft. home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, in an upscale neighborhood. This beach home is larger than most in this popular beach location and area. It feels like a mini Italian get-away with a modern feel. As soon as you enter this wonderful space you feel the responsibilities of life fall away from your shoulders. There is plenty of room to spread out, two over-sized sofas beg for a good read or nap with nature flowing in from the outdoors of this very private sanctuary.
While you kick back, the aromas of a great meal may be stewing in the gorgeous kitchen, fit for a chef. A hot tub and outdoor lounging await you, while the kids play in the surreal tree fort designed for both little ones, on up. If the big kids "get bored," send them to the "within earshot" park for a game of basketball or tennis, while they wait for you, the next meal, or for everyone to get ready to leave.
As you meander upstairs it'll be tough to decide who sleeps where. Each room has flair, and feels yummy! It's a magical treat sleeping in the "clouds room" where you feel like royalty laying in a bed which comes up to the windows and faces a mecca of natural beauty and trees. The sunrise is at your feet and the moon and stars under your nose. You literally feel like you're outside, yet, tucked away in the comfort of warmth and down blankets. The kids will love the "castle room" which has natural wood toys to enjoy. The "zen room" has great natural light and a sense calmness about it.
The "bella room" is a beautiful suite all on its own. Enjoy your private sofa and fire, take a nice long bath and simply lay in bed while listening to the birds or subtle wind from the beach. You won't want to leave the house by the time you settle in. ~ But it will all be waiting for you at the end of each fun-filled day.
SAVE YOUR GAS! ~ Just down the road, is Twin Lakes Beach, one of the very few bonfire-friendly beaches in town. So pack up the family nightly for bonfires, hot dogs and s'mores. Be a true local, walk just about everywhere from this convenient and centrally located casual neighborhood. Everything is close by; two parks, a local favorite breakfast spot across the street, a taqueria around the corner, a mini-market on the way to the beach, nearby video stores, a Sunday farmer's market and a Trader Joe's within a few miles.
You're near the Yacht Harbor and famous Crow's Nest restaurant, both local and tourists favorites. Close to downtown Santa Cruz, the University, the Redwoods, and 2 golf courses, which means you'll never run out of recreational options, including plenty of coastal events, two piers and the Boardwalk.
