A fully equipped kitchen with plenty of cutlery, glasses & tableware. High thread count linens & beach towels are provided. The owner's representative lives close by & can provide on site help if necessary. Weekly cleaning & linen change is provided.
The nearest beach is a short walk from the unit. Lots of interesting restaurants are located close to the complex. Zihuatanejo has a vibrant Mexican feel. A fascinating central market with food & crafts vendors is open daily. The nightlife is full of interest: live music, community events in the local central square. A open air fish market at the main beach each morning. Sports-fishing excursions & visits to local islands & beaches can be made from the town marina. Zihuatanejo hosts an International Guitar Festival in Spring with a talented group of artists from around the world.

We look forward to welcoming you to our Pacific paradise.

What an amazing stay in a beautiful condo! I highly recommend this property. The location is perfect as it is a quick walk to the beach, the markets and the city center. With a fully stocked kitchen, cooking meals here was fun and easy. We had everything we could ask for and more. Peter and Carol are so friendly and helpful, thanks again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had an awesome holiday! Peter picked us up at the airport and gave us a tour by car of the area. He then dropped us at the condo and showed us around there. The condo was bright, spacious and had everything needed. The pool was great for a dip to cool down. We spent alot of time on the beach that was a 2 minute walk away. The beaches in the area were amazing and the temperature of the ocean was like bath water. It was even warm in the evenings, never needed a sweater. The restaraunts were close by and the food was generally above average it not excellent. We walked to the market and to the grocery store so a car rental was not needed. Watched the sunset every night on the beach. Worth a return trip.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.
Owner response: Glad to hear that you had a great holiday. Hope your future travels bring you back here.

We found the area very safe and close to all amenities - there was no need for a vehicle. The beaches were easy to walk to, as was the local shopping. The owner was very helpful and available when needed. Good restaurants within walking distance. The room was airy, comfortable and provided good views from both balconies. A wonderful place to visit.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with young children.

Very much enjoyed our March 2011 stay at La Ceiba. The 3rd floor condo was spacious and open, with a nice view of the pool and courtyard. We found the complex to be quiet and relaxing. Superb location, within a short walk to town and beach. Our hosts, Peter and Carol, were very accomodating and helpful. Definitely good value and we will no doubt stay again next visit to ZihuaRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, families with young children.

We loved this apartment and it's location in Zihuatanejo. We could walk every where (Playa La Ropa, Playa Madera, the Centro, the large Commercial grocery store). Taxis (which we only ever needed once and that was to go to the airport at the end of our stay :-( )and restaurants were all at our doorstep and the buses to all the places we wanted to visit were nearby too. Our hosts were so welcoming and we felt really well looked after. The complex is small and quiet. There is street noise that infiltrates the apartment, but we got used to it fast - it was so hot and tropical and such a wonderful holiday destination we can't complain and we are very keen to return!Did you find this review helpful? We stayed at the unit in November and we enjoyed staying there. We like to cook and we were pleased to find that the kitchen was well equipped. And the local outdoor market is a short walk from the unit. Peter and Carol who manage the unit are great - very friendly and always available to answer questions.Did you find this review helpful? We cannot say enough wonderful things about this apartment. It is simply perfect and after years trying different places in and around Zihuatanejo this will now be our annual "Go To" home-away-from home. My husband has been traveling to Zihua for more than 20 years, so we're well acquainted with the area and know what we're looking for. The apartment complex is ideally situated in the hip, some like to call it "bohemian" neighborhood called La Madera. The neighborhood has its own "restaurant row" if you don't want to stray more than a few blocks, but it's also just a short walk into the bustling town, if you're looking for more excitment (we enjoyed walking into town for dinner and then taking the leisurely stroll back to the apartment). The apartment is also just two short blocks from the Plaza Kioto, where it's easy to catch a taxi. The complex itself is quiet and secure and the staff are exceptionally gracious and eager to help with whatever you need. It's ideally situated, with morning sunlight flooding the main open-air living space, where you'll enjoy your coffee (but not the bedroom, if you're hoping to sleep in!). We were surprised how cool the main living space stayed with the fans on later into the afternoon. And of course, you can air-condition the bedroom. If you're planning to visit Zihuatanejo and you've discovered this listing, consider yourself very lucky and contact the owners to make your reservation right away. Your search for the perfect place to stay is over!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3
