Situated at Yucatan’s south-eastern tip, the house "Casa Caracola" is 8 km north of Xcalak, a small and authentic fishermen’s village.
This beautiful beachfront house has an upper unit apartment to rent. At the back of the house, there is a garden and path which leads on to a natural lake, home to many birds and wild animals. The Great Mayan Reef is about 400 meters in front of the house and offers many nautical sports and activities: swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, fly-fishing… You can also discover the jungle and the Mayan ruins.
This second floor apartment has a queen bedroom, a living room with double and single futons and a beautifully tiled bathroom. The screened palapa for dining also encompasses a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a terrace where you can sit and enjoy the panoramic view or sunbath. Ideal for 2 to 4 persons.
Next to the house, there is a Beachfront thatched dining palapa with a gas B.B.Q., picnic tables and chairs.
And do not forget the beach palapa with its’ friendly shade and lounge chairs.

The house is located in the marine park "Arrecifes de Xcalak" which includes Chinchorro Banks (Banco Chinchorro). Upon arrival, please stop in at the park office to purchase your entry bracelet. The park office is in Xcalak, south on the beachfront.
This ecological casa is run on solar power and uses water from a cistern.
If reservations are cancelled 30 days prior to arrival, a year credit will be issued or other arrangements can be worked out.
