Our family invites you to rent/share our comfortable, KOZY modernized Brainerd / Nisswa area Pelican Lakefront cabin on one of the clearest and most pristine lakes near Brainerd MN. Our cabin is nestled in on the west side of Jones Bay/Pelican Lake, just 2.5 miles south of Breezy Point on county road 4 (# 27328).
This 2 story walkout getaway offers a well groomed lakeside lawn with sand strip beach area with plenty of space to lounge, play, or enjoy a campfire as you relax with family & friends. A bonus feature is the screen porch that walks out to the lake, allowing you to enjoy bug-free evenings as you listen to the loons that live in the bay.
From the dock (5+ feet water) you can fish for bass, crappies & sunnies ...... or take off for a fun ride in a tube ..... a great place to swim, play & soak up the sun.

Year Purchased: 1997
Andrea & I have been enjoying life together for many years. During these years we enjoy, among other things, sun, water & fun on Minnesota lakes. Our 3 kids have enjoyed Pelican Lake which holds many wonderful summer time 'fun in the sun' memories - it has been a great place for all of our extended family to get together. Now we get to share it with 4 wonderful grandkids too!
Why the Owner Chose Brainerd
We love this are because it fairly close to home, is generally a wonderful area, the lake water is unbeleivably clear, the cabin is close to amenities, entertainment, and great shopping (when it is raining), close to great churches, ...but is still a get-away!

Apart from a spectacular walkout to gorgeous Pelican Lake that provides hours of water recreation & great fishing, this beautiful cabin is very close to other extra curricular amenities that are part of enjoyable summer vacationing . . . such as ice cream & candy shops, pizzarias & other fabulous restaurants, bait & gas for fishing/water sports, movie theaters (for those rainy summer days), golf, unique shopping, family recreational sites, and much more. Our grandkids love the sand, water and all the fun things we can do together at the lake too!

My husband and our two girls have visited this spot on numerous occasions. The cabin is exactly how it looks in the pictures; quiet, clean, and well-maintained. Even though the beach isn't huge, it was great for my kids- there is also a nearby sand bar that has hip-high CLEAR water for hours of fun! We love that it's just a couple minutes from Nisswa- we love the old-fashioned candy/ice cream shop, cute shops, walking trail, mini-golf (Pirate's Cove), and water park. We usually cook for ourselves in the cabin, but Brainerd is only about 20-25 min away and has some great restaurants, shopping, etc. The owner, Dan, is very personable and helpful! We really enjoy our time!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
